So… dont you guys care that you lost all traps? U have only freezing trap.
To pick tar trap you lose importants talents. And is just a 50% useless slow.
Not sure if hunter was more boring than in midnight, ever.

hunter traps were always useless as long as i remember
when raiding freezing trap was the most used one still was not first choice there are much better choices to cc target, thats why a pure dps that brings nothing to group or raid is important to be tunned accordingly
tar trap was just cool, but i doubt it was ever useful
i have binding shot atm but rarely use, no one cares about it, no reason to press
ive discussed hunter utility in the past around here, tried to exlain its garbabe, no one ever picks hunter for CC or utily
im even never asked for hunter mark, its yeah he will use it somehwere 
Its not even about being usefull or not. Its about being fun. Explosive trap was very fun.
Boomstick and Flamefang Pitch are better than any traps.
Freezing and Tar trap is enough. You can also imagine that skill that binds everyone is a trap too, it’s just has a strange arrow animation, better to replace it with trap visuals.
But explosive trap would be cool to have back too.
Lol. Everyone laugh about boomstick. Its a stupid animation and unfun to use. Except doing a lot of dmg is a dull spell

When i saw this skill in War Within on Brann i immediately wanted it. Glad that Blizzard add this.
Now they need to add hero talanets based on Dwarves/Brann and remove mandatory pet from Survival rotation and it will be perfect.
what? hunter traps were part of a aoe rotation for years until they butchered everything in WOD.

I never used any trap in any rotation, rarely asked to use any traps for cc, just threw whenever felt like it they were always something better
i threw tar trap to stress tanks when affixes were relevant
I miss the traps as well as bursting shot on Bm. The utility was a nice to have
Steel Trap, Snake Trap/Tar Trap root, Explosive Trap, Immolation Trap. RIP in pepperoni
