hunter is a giga joke at this point. I played 20 games of 2s yesterday at 2k+ mmr (which is quite high atmo, playing 3k players all the time) and literally 70% of games was vs hunter. Complete joke class, and its going to get a lot worse when survival gets their tier set bonuses which are the best out of any dps.

It doesnt matter how good survival 4-set could be when rogues, dh and holy priest will obliterate 25% versa survival in a stun.
U can get around 30-33% vers, tier set, 24.5% haste and 20% crit with full gear. confirmed by bicmex y’day.
first of all, 25% versa is nothing idk whats your gear lmao
second, if you think surv hunter is the not the best spec in the game for 2s rn, then you are trolling, we are at a point where even hunter mains like bicmex admitting it, if you play hpriest surv or rdru surv properly theres no counter for you on 2s and its a fact, and especially not a dh, dh should be the easiest win as surv hpriest, you can stop every go while doing stable 4k dps… like i agree theres classes dh,assa(with 4 set especially) that needs tunning too, but when it comes to 2s, theres nothing close to surv

hunter is beyond joke status, your brain cells have just been deleted from playing the most broken 2 button class in the game. Rogues are also ridiculous and need huge nerfs, you’re right about that tho

“first of all”, bicmex has said for the whole of SL that survival is the best 2s spec so thats nothing new. Secondly, i have not said anything about survival being good or not. Im saying that when other classes gets their double legendary and 4setbonus, it wont matter how good survival is because survival will get destroyed.
Players like bicmex who are r1 even when survival is in a bad state wont be affected either way, of course. It will show in the next 2-3 weeks how the meta will turn out. You say that survival will be broken. I say that i think it will not be due to the other classes upcoming strenghts. We will just see.

the thing about that is, while I agree that surv has no hard counter in 2s and is broken dmg wise, you have to play a lot better than the dh to win that matchup, trust me. people who consider surv a 2 button spec would be stuck at 1500 playing it. and that’s also a fact.
if you don’t play defensively very well, you lose to rogues and dhs very quickly.
and to say sth on topic too, craven design doesn’t really make any sense to be completely honest
indeed we will see, also it depends on which part of the playerbase we talk about, if we talk about casual players stuck 1.6-2k, i’d say dh and assa is better than surv, simply bcz that 2 have lower skill entry so at the same low lvl they have advantage over surv, but if we talk about top lvl, so playing the classes on full potential, then i dont think anything will change on 2s, surv will stay at the top

imagine thinking that while surivival has insane double legendary possibilities and the 2 and 4 set is completely broken. Played against a survival yesterday who did 9k dps for 2 mins in 3s.

I dont really know what you are trying to say. Im not denying the power of survival dbl leggo + 4 set. Jungle is going to a 100% absolute nightmare to play against for sure. But besides jungle, you probably wont see many survival hunters high up in 3s, which has been the case already for the whole of SL.
There is much assumption in this thread. AWC is ongoing and people have the 4P there. Watch some replays, or wait for Friday and you’ll see what actually dominates.

90% of 2’s games vs Hpriest Hunter. I nearly had a mental breakdown yesterday. I’ve never ever felt so useless.
Anyone know if demonology is better than affliction vs hunters? The fade dispel, feign death dispel makes it almost impossible to set up any kind of soul rot burst.
Fighting demo/hpriest as hunter is a really hard comp, seeing how demo/hpriest are so good at denying go’s and are tanky as f. But honestly affliction does pretty okey also when they get a good go on the healer.
Most hunters at this rating will feign with dots up + a drain life / shackles. Bait the feign and then slaughter the hunter also works fine, but dont use anything big unless hunter has feigned.

Aye. I usually get the kills on the Hpriest, or they oom from my pressure, but then they resurrect from spirit of redemption, so I have to kill them twice 
I’m playing rdruid/afflock which probably doesn’t help. I think I’m gonna give demo a go, since half of the problem is how squishy I feel vs BM and survival. Thanks for the info
