Find it kinda dumb they are taking this approuch to changes, I am not a hunter or a melee so donât care for the item. But I do know the significants of this item.
They didnât wanna change Thunderfury because it was iconic, well this trinket is also very iconic dropping of a boss at the end of a long and big dungeon with low droprate.
Whatâs worse imo, is they just drop this 1 week after release. Everything I do in SOD that feels difficult, time consuming or cost a lot of gold has me feeling what if they just change it the next day and make it âfreeâ for everyone?
These sorta changes is bad for the game period.
SOD was there to relieve some of the FOMO from other versions of the game but this creates a whole different type of FOMO.
even without hoj,warriors do incredible amount of dps , let the hunters having their time

They kind of dont actually. Have you been playing p4? I see hunters do double warrior dps in brd
Yes but i no longer main hunter and even in PvP warriors hit like a truck
The reason is that HoJ is pre-raid BiS even for ranged hunters right now even though it obviously provides less benefits. So they made it easier for us so that huntards like me do not roll need on it and donât take it away from classes that need it more
Well only if the person his hitting is AFK and sitting down, with no gear on.

Should have just amended Hoj to both Ranged & melee attacks on one itemâŠ
What do you mean let hunters have their time, hunter has been busted in every phase of SoD.
Or its added to the same loot table with shared drop chance. Then melees are seething with rage when it drops âWhyTF is this hunter item dropping always!!!â

Sorry but it might be a skill issue , 1v1 a semi-skilled warrior could defeat almost all classes

Theyâve had their time all of SoD. Hunters have been broken at the start of every single phase.
p1 - complete domination of BM where BM hunter pets could outperform best DPS in BFD
p2 - melee hunter domination
p3 - melee hunter continues domination
p4 - trap hunter, lone wolf, TnT, entrapment hunter

Is not free since u still need to play game. There r people who never seen tiers after endless spam. Some tiersets droping in Upper spires that on my server almost people dont doing since less people have key.
i did try to farm key but missing one gem that refuse to drop.
Not to mention toxic chain quest with overall 1500g to spare.
Just because you had luck that dont applies on all players.
Remember this is seasonal game-content and should not be that much grind.
U play game for yourself not for others!
This item better be removed, its a spit in the face of every melee class. First changing so that HoJ drops from Emp instead of General Angerforge so that we have to run the entire dungeon even though the droprate is super low, and now thisâŠgiving hunters more free stuff. Blizzard gonna lose a lot of ppl over stupid decisions like these.
