So the Happiness system works like this you need to feed your pet to keep it happy if you do not it becomes unhappy In either TBC or Wotlk they changed it so the pets no longer run away if left totally unhappy all the time.
You can find out what they like in the pet character window or using beast lore (ability)
Maybe you should have mentioned it then since you specifically stated only trying 2 things in your OP and feeding wasn’t one of them.
People like Ayellin suggested feeding since it might not be obvious it you’re not aware of it and went as far as providing a useful link to a great source of pet info, but sure go ahead and be rude I guess
Ok so you feed the pet what food and what is the pet exactly?
It has been from when they took out happiness on pets til today where i never have had to care about what specific food i feed my pets.
Your posts lacks a lot of basic information for us to even come close to helping you if it is not feeding.
Things we need to know what pet are you talking about specifically (family is enough but if you have the name it is easy enough to look it up) What is the food you are feeding it and what level is the pet.
The reason we need to know this is because it is very common to try to feed bats things like meat and it not gaining loyalty.
There is also animals in the past that no longer is tameable and was therefore changed so you could no longer keep them happy.
My best example on that is from Wotlk when hunters could tame a worgen in the howling fjords they changed it so it became useless as a pet because of worgens coming in to the game later on.
The information you have given us you are level 70 you have tamed several other pets the same level as yours and you have tried to tame lower level pets.
We have nothing to go on here.
The one thing that is true is that to get loyalty level up you need to feed your pets the right things for them you need to use your pets they will not instantly become the highest level of happy for you it takes time.
You also need to use feed pet on food items that is of the same level as your pet or your own level. You can not use food that is for a level 10 as an example it won’t bring the pet any happiness.
So from memory and from the names those are considered cooked meat.
If you feed a cat the same food does it work? is it for all pets or just Ravengers?
Cooked meat does not mean they give stats it just means the meat is cooked.
This is a way easier way of showing.
Take this as just an example https://tbc.wowhead.com/spell=43772/kiblers-bits
The kiblers-bits would be the cooked version of https://tbc.wowhead.com/item=27671/buzzard-meat
Buzzard meat is the raw meat that the Ravanger likes to eat.
