We’re literally dragons. It makes no sense that I have to ride a dragon in order to fly “or soar” on a 4 min CD, when I myself am a dragon. What?
Why can’t I just fly around the world, at standard flying mount speed, like if I were riding a mount? It doesn’t even have to be an instant cast like for druids.

It just doesn’t make sense to me. First draconic class added, in an expansion called dragonflight, and I have to switch to humanoid form and RIDE A DRAGON to fly around the world when I myself AM A DRAGON.

Due to the influence of elementals and primordial dragons, the air in the dragon isles is extremely thin, making long flights difficult.
However, through increased dragon riding flight training you can improve your chances at staying in the air longer.
As an exception there is an Nozdormu’s special magic which can overcame physics.
Why do people keep claiming they can’t do it?
The OP means regular Flying, something like worgen built in mount, a mount that Just flyes at the same Speed of other mounts,and i think It should be added tbh

They totally should of had this. I get why they didnt want to give them superfast whoosh DF flight but they def could of had regular ol’ flappyflappy flight!
They may be half dragon but only half. With that wingspan it’s frankly a miracle they can fly at all. Here’s the wingspan a human requires to fly without an engine (though to be fair it can’t flap and can fit 2 people, but still:

Same reason. Tiny wings - it’s going to take a heckuvalot of muscle to stay up even for a little while.

Yes he does. Illidan can only fly for a very short amount of time. In Warcraft 3 he couldn’t fly at all.
