I actually enjoy demo lock

Hi yall,

I do enjoy it. It feels more fluent rn with the faster shadow bolts imo. Also the empowered hand of guldan and shadow bolt feels great. The summon charhound is a nice addition aswell.

I hope you guys enjoy diabolist demo aswell. What kind of changes would you like to see?

Lmk cheers

I’m also really enjoying Diabolist Demo (My first alt is a warlock, still levelling, but almost to 80), with “shadowbolt” casting more quickly, the lower number of “demonic core” procs (I use “Power siphon” for big movement) isn’t as big of a gameplay slow-down as i feared it would be, and having the three special demons show up (Quite powerful themselves, but buffing my own spells as well) really feels good.

Hi, I also really like Demonology Diabolist. Unfortunately there are some bugs that cause problems, such as the fact that major demons do not often hit the main target.

The overlord in particular is not good for dynamics, he should appear like a grimoire: felguard with a portal close to the main target and quickly sprint giving an instant hit, instead of taking a useless run up and then stopping and charging a shot that often misses .

I really like the fact that infernal bolt and ruin are spells that can’t be silenced or kicked.

From the current dynamic I would like it to be slightly faster in producing damage, for example it would be enough if the dreadstalkers or the charhound were instant, and it would be exceptional if every demonbolt and shadowbolt had the possibility of giving an enhanced hands of guldan’s instant like the bonus of the old one set.

For pvp a talent or skill that removes snare, root and CC at least from the Felguard would be very welcome!

Yeah, Demo feels really great to play. In fact, this is possibly the best version of the spec ever, and Diabolist is arguably the coolest hero talent tree in the game. Adding so much flavour and changing existing spells without adding new buttons or entirely replacing existing spells. It also has synergy with other important CD’s like Tyrant. It is perfectly designed IMO.

I also really like the changes to the base spec tree. The cutting down of so many 2 point nodes, moving around of useful talents and addition of new Char/Gloomhound and passive Doomguard summon on Doom expiry… it feels like a more evolved/improved version of DF Demo, which I already enjoyed.

I hope they keep this focus on demon variety and sheer output of minions. The fantasy and gameplay fluidity is 10/10.

It’s a spec I cannot wait to somebody play and enjoy in PvE mainly tbh. I don’t think it will ever quite be as fun as Destruction though.
