I almost thought I can tank again in TW

So thought myself, I will check out the tw doungeons, for the badges and the achi. Because I had bad experince from classic tw, I startdef as dps, and I had 3 nice run. Then I thought myself, that why not go tank, it seems the madness has passed, I can be a happy tank once again.

I couldn’t be more wrong. Next dungeon is Freehold, I am starting to go towards the first boss, and the whole team heads down to the ropbe bridge. I immediately understood the situation, and left. I got the 30 min debuff, but I don’t care. That you can skip the major part of the conent, is stupid, and partly Blizzard’s fault too, you should not get the creadit unless you kill every essential boss.
I know I am alone with this, but I don’t get why are you here, if you are not interested in the content. (I know you will write xp, but there are couple of other options, where you don’t have to go to these obsolete, boring old dungeons).

This is exactly the reason why i dont want to tank. The rush and all the skips, others getting mad if i dont know the most efficient route, pull wrong packs or dont pull enough.
I’ve enjoyed playing tank with few familiar peoples and would love to try it in pugs, but the stress of not being good enough is just not worth it.

Becouse timewalking dungeons are boring. In fact. Whole retail content outside of high m+ or heroic/mythic raid Is brain dead. Only Reason why people do that content is becouse Blizzard slaps random chest with heroic loot on it. I play classic And retail and classic sure is more simple but every single content you do is fun and meaningfull while retails 95% of content is one big slop of brain dead content.

So you signed up for a team sport and got mad when the team preferred a different approach and left and now its everyone elses fault.

People skip and fast track dungeons whether it’s TW or not. I think Freehold is the only one though where people don’t kill them all.

I’m not sure why you wouldn’t have just done the one boss and then queued again. It’s more efficient than getting a deserter buff.

You nailed it, I indeed joined a team sport, where I wanted to play fair, going on the set path by the rules, yet my team decided to “take supplements to cheat.” By that they made their personal choice, and I made mine as a response of disagreement.

They followed the rules as they are, you got mad that the rules arent what you think they should be.

Ahhhh, remember the good ol’days when dungeons were linear and you couldn’t skip bosses/trash

Should never have been different, really.
Weird seeing a few dungeons run like this, while in others you can skip half the bosses.
