Back then TBC was released Blizzard and Dreamhack hosted a competition to level to 10 as fast as possible. I love speedrunning and wanted to bring this back to vanilla WoW.
With the announcement of the extra stress test on May 29 I am going to host a small leveling competition that anyone who has a test-invite is welcome to participate in. The max 5 test worked pretty well during the second day and if this works just as well we can bring some content to those of us who don’t have ‘proper’ beta invites and can’t wait for Classic.
The servers will again be up past the stress test until 4 p.m. PDT (01:00 CEST) so I’ll host it at 22:00 CEST (1 p.m. PDT) which will give you some time to practice and enough time to enjoy the ending of the test (rag, thrall in SW is a cool experience and crowded when they collapse the layers).
To make things fair at the start of the competition a naming scheme will be announced. To be eligible to win, create a character within the requested naming scheme, and in case we are are in different layers make sure to grab a screencap with your /played, message me ingame etc. The competition will be hosted in Dun Morogh so you can choose to be either a Gnome or a Dwarf of any class.
So: If you have a Stress Test beta - May 30th, 1 p.m. PET/22:00 CEST Wait until naming scheme announced before starting, I’ll be posting it in the thread I made here, on barrens.chat and reddit so that if you found one of these posts you can be sure to not miss out.
