There is usually a few days wait if you are already on a sub.

oh i see. as i am already seeing people in game using it. so i wondered what’s going on.

We have until July to redeem the Gift so I’m just going to wait a few days to see if it appears.

I assume those who bought the 12 month sub got it once they paid for that.
The 6 month one requires you to have a renewal date active and it will automatically be sent. But I guess this may be done at a certain time rather than when a transaction takes place.
I got mine as soon as it was announced pretty much. 12 month resub though. It doesn’t renew until next month.

I am relatively sure it doesn’t matter when you resub to get it but I could be wrong. Not been subbed for a while on either plan.
Players who purchased the 12-Month subscription will automatically receive the Auspicious Arborwyrm and the Cypress pet. Players on an existing 6-Month recurring subscription with a future renewal date will receive these items at no additional charge, no later than January 23, 2024 (must be redeemed by July 31, 2024)
They will appear in your collection as a giftwrapped mount if I remember. Check back before 23 January, if you don’t receive anything after this date and you meet the criteria in the support article/newsblog contact Support.

I like it - it’s different to any I have already.
Mine popped up as a wrapped present in my mount tab this morning after I’d been playing for half an hour or so. I’ve had a recurring annual sub for a long time so maybe that’s why. I guess they do it a few at a time.
