I need help. :v
My creativity has run dry, and I have absolutley no idea how to create a fun and interesting character concept.
I kinda want something rather unique, but I can’t think of a single idea of what, my prefered races are worgen, Dark Iron, and human, I suppose, if that info helps.
Any tips welcome. 
Sometimes a cool character concept can lay within a profession…
My alt for example is an amateur in perfumery !
Mixing extracts of herbs and what she can find to make her creations 
Dark.
Iron.
Blacksmith.
What kind of toons you played before?
Best way to make an interesting character is to look at the stereotypes of the race you want to play, and see how you can tinker with it.
Ask yourself questions about your character and see where it leads you. Who does your Dark Iron drink with? Who does your Northshire paladin look up to as an inspiration? What did your Worgen want to do before they got bitten, and how has the curse changed that?
As soon as you start thinking in those terms, you’ll start building a character.
That’s what I am thinking of, something rather ordinary and not “Mister Super hero 3000 with his Demon Obliterator 500000 sword forged in the Fires of Blackrock Mountains with the tears of Ragnaros himself.”
It is very tempting, and a good concept, maybe I’ll use that.
A hard question, all kinds… kinda ? I have a hard time deciding and sticking to a character.
Well, worgen is pretty much all feral rage thingie, I tried that, but it was not my thing.
Very good tips, but it’s the start, the concept itself, I have trouble with, once I have that I can form my toons pretty well.
When it comes to characters, why not look for a flaw for your character to have instead? A limitation to their capabilities can prove to be really fun to work with.
I usually include one !
A fun one for a Dark Iron could be a one who is FORCED to not drink. So if you can find yourself among other dwarves, you can easily be a very bitter dark iron who sits with a water while all others get to drink.
I always thought a Dark Iron firefighter would be quite a cool concept, I never intend to make it a thing myself but I’d love to see someone else try it.
I was thinking some kind of wound which would make smithing/ eventual fighting harder. But not a need for a prosthetic. Seems to have a lot of characters has that already.
I know its a bit cliché, but I doubt anyone could help you

Be patient and don’t think about it, the idea and concept will come to you, its like love or happiness, you can’t pursue

Don’t worry, your character will sneak up on you and jumps in to your mind when the time is right :3
The people here has helped me a bit already, a Dark Iron Blacksmith seems really fun to play, but I don’t know a lot of guilds that would recruit “Civilians” per say.

Have you tried a character that is just awful at keeping secrets? Like an innocent warlock that’s just too oblivious at what’s going on.
A dark iron dwarf could do since they’re stuck in their molten cities for so long. He’s a warlock like… he thinks his demons are just some friends who happen to pop nearby when he’s lonely or happy or depends.
And then the demons are just perplexed at his innocence.
I now REALLY want to see this… Imagine the fire truck
I have tried to roleplay a Warlock, but that was not my thing.
Depends if you focus on the class or on the character. I’d focus on the character.
Or make him bipolar.
Try to read some stories or watch movies, like Wow’s own lore and stories, LotR and alike. They may be able to give you some inspiration and ideas which you like and find interesting.
How about the Gilnean nobility (I don’t mean typical aristocrats), devotion to Goldrinn in some way or something with ties to Northgate Rebellion, being one of Crowley’s Rebels?
