Have you ever played wow with any trusted roster, did you had friends? Not that simple. What if most of them are on the server that is locked and you have been invited by them for wotlk launch/prepatch.

Give me one good reason why you should be allowed to transfer, that actually benefits the server, and not yourself and others in your position.
Because if I have no choice I will desperately boost char near wotlk launch there anyway so slot is still taken but blizzard takes x2 more money from me (not deserved money imho).
