I have tried every single “Feeling Lucky?” Slot Machine in the room, the code works on every one of them and I get the sign that means it’s correct, but no chest unlocks and I am not getting the Piece of Hate coin in my bag.
I’ve tried reloading, leaving the Catacombs and coming back and relogging, and nothing helps. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, what did you do, please?

U need to get more luck items for it, u can always try to use lucky duck toy also.

I bought all lucky items, type 777 and I gor it first try! Now I am try ing to find Golden Muffin, nobody solved it yet!
It’s entirely up to RNG whether it will be 1 try, 1 hour worth of trying, 1 day worth of trying and so on.
Keep on trying until you get it is all I can say.
I got mine with a couple of the “Lucky” items and entering 777777 (6x7)
I had 7 lucky ittem including the lucy duck toy active to get my piece of hate
I had the exact same problem. I typed in 5 sevens and the magnifying glass popped up, but nothing else happened. Had all but 1 of the lucky items, still nothing. Then just for the hell of it, i tried 10 sevens and it worked. Magnifying glass pops and orb appears and everything.
So my advice is try going through 1-10 sevens and see if it works. Did for me.

I’m having another problem with the quest, i exited right after i got to the last room to get the lucky items and now the slot machines won’t spawn so im stuck with 8 pieces of hatred instead of 9. There are no other machines around I just had to do the last ones. I’ve logged in and out and exited the instance but nothing seems to fix it… Any ideas?
There is no problem with this if u fail on this u better look it up more.
Dont forget to use the gogles you got earlier from the cosmic looking chest.
Anybody else have an issue where the slots disapeared when leaving the hideout to buy the “lucky” items? This just happened to me and now I am stuck with 8 pieces of hate. I ran the macro to find out which one and its indeed confirmed the slots one is the one i am missing but cant seem to get the consoles back in the room to try and get it now that I have purchased the items
I have raised a bug about this. Hope it gets fixed 
The starry eyed goggles fixed that for me when the same thing happened.

I got the magnifying glass on five 7’s, but despite inputting the correct amount of 7s into all of the slot machines around the room and getting the magnifying glass, it just wasn’t happening.
I then went and bought:
Lucky Rat’s Tooth, Lucky Charm, Lucky Dragon’s Claw, Lucky Tortollan Charm, Lucky Horseshoe and Lucky shirt plus the Lucky Duck buff, and I repeated the same amount of 7s into all of the machines in the room a few more rounds. Then I thought… what if I just try another amount of 7s, even though it’s indicating that 5 was enough? So I tried with 6x7 instead, and instantly got the coin.
In other words, just because it’s telling you some amount was enough, just keep trying different amounts of 7s.
For me it was 7 7 7 and wearing the seven lucky ittems Aydra listed
Has anyone attempted to finish it with other characters?
I have attempted to do this with 2 characters so far and got stuck at 8 pieces and consoles magically disappearing with no hope in sight
Buy all Lucky, enter 777 and I got it on first try!

I completed this today and after having to hard reset default all settings and remove all add ons so the “0” key would appear on my action bar I had 5 of 7 “lucky” items and on the deciphering console hit 777 and it popped first time.
But what made me laugh was getting the /pray, I flew to the platform and saw about 20 people all hanging around. Soon as I summoned my pug my screen was filled with yells of “Soulclaimer has the items stack on her!!”
