I’ve been playing WoW for more than 12 years now, and this is the first time I write on this forum, despite the fact that I have read so many topics here.
Now I am really, REALLY tired of how blizzard chooses to deal with sub rogue in pvp. It became unplayable, here is why:
1- CC/STUN NERF.
After the big CC/stun nerf during Dragonflight, sub rogue became a trash spec, since it relies SO MUCH on stuns and ccs.
It became impossible to kill a player in a kidney>CP>CP window because the stun is too short and lots of classes have a defensive usable while stunned. The average opponent players can press 1 button to make the entire burst just pointless. This nerf literally KILLED sub rogue in pvp.
2- DAMAGE.
If u developers really want to reduce the stun window for all classes, at least give the opportunity to players that like playing sub rogue, to kill the target outside the stun, relying on a BIG damage window:
If I activate Shadowblades, SoD and ShadowDance, the target MUST receive a huge amount of damage as well as other class do: If a fury warrior, an affli lock or a WW monk use their burts, the target is literally deleted.
Why don’t every dps spec in this game can have the same opportunity??
With this patch sub rogue became a spec much more closer to assa(especially in arena): in order to have a good dmg I must put Rupture on all 3 targets. This is the opposite of the concept of sub rogue.
3- FUN.
Sub rogue became the OPPOSITE OF FUN in pvp.
Patch after patch, lots of cool abilities have been adjusted, nerfed or removed.
I am talking about major cds like the recent DESTRUCTIVE nerf to Vanish or minor ones like the possibility to walk over water while sprinting.
I bet they wouldn’t have the courage to remove Waterwalk (Shamans) and Ice Path (DKs).
This is not correct, since I pay to play a game that works and that is fun.
As customer I expect all classes to be balanced and fun to play.
It was a good journey at the beginning, but recently it became unfun.
I invite other sub rogue enjoyers to express their concerns about this situation.
