I Am Undead And I Need Help

This is also currently in a bit of a grey area thanks to the last Shadowlands book.

During the battle of Darkshore, in-game did as we all know lean towards that only those who willingly joined the forsaken got resurrected and the devs/story people did say in interviews that no one was resurrected without consent.

The last Shadowland book said otherwise though, instead alluding to that most elves were controlled, and Sira outright says that she would never choose to return but was forcibly resurrected despite actively fighting it and while not directly mind-controlled, warped and changed to the point that she knew she was fighting against her own will atleast a bit.

Baraghur needs more hearts, guys, come on. Because I am so wrong and snarky, and you are all good and polite

Like I suggested back a few days ago, I think you might be better off taking a break from the thread a while.

I’m not trying to force you, but for your own well being as this is very clearly stressing you out.

Nah. I just got too much spare time and I’m lonely so I drone on the forums for a sense of community while at work. You just happen to have absolute dog water takes in this thread.

I finally found the name of this song!

Total bop tbh.

Basic sense will usually help with this. Or lore digging.

Like, gameplay a warlock can call down an infernal immediately, but in lore even a dreadsteed is meant to be incredibly difficult to summon(One of the hardest). And the bigger demons usually require multiple warlocks to even summon, let alone control.

How did you not know the name?
My mum loves this song.
Then Will Smith spawned and did the Men-in-Black song.

Fair enough, Darkfallen Kaldorei lore is super messy and I hope Sira and Delaryn get some focus sometime to iron that out.

Still, regardless of it’s just pure spite or because of Maw-related mind warping, there’s more reason than not for them to avoid the Alliance rather than affiliate, which is probably why the only Nelf Dark Ranger NPCs we’ve seen since Shadowlands ended are Forsaken.

Even if it was Maw-domination or something, “I was mind-controlled.” will usually still make people weary of you after you’ve done alot of bad.

Especially since even if that was the case, the former is still fully canon that Undeath does increase negative emotions by just sheer existence. Even the nicest of undeads will battle with this for as long as they continue to exist.

On the topic of undead, when are they going to change their voice lines? I don’t think “Victory for Sylvanas” works these days.

That one can go, most of the rest gotta stay; Forsaken quotes are among my favorites.
“Patience, discipline” gets a lot of narrative mileage!

I knew the song but, ironically, I kept forgetting its name.

Go play on Moonguard then, easy solution!

No, there are still plenty of players/NPCs who preserve Sylvanas’ ideals and love their Banshee Queen. So it makes perfect sense.

Right, you being the lore expert and all.

You’re RPing a Draenei Warlock, you have no right to speak about lore here.

Jesse what the frick are you talking about

I’m very curious where you got me roleplaying a draenei warlock from.

Oh, so you don’t like it when people randomly assume things about you and bully you for that?

I got it from the same place as you when you read that I claim to be a lore expert when for the past few days I’ve been saying that it’s very hard to call oneself a true lore master with the story constantly being altered and butchered by the new writers.

Also, “many players love Sylvanas = lore expert”. Gotcha.
