I Am Undead And I Need Help

Quillestra, for your own good, I genuinely do think that you should take a break from the forums for a couple of days. This isn’t me going “please leave”, but I’ve kept up with this thread and you seem more and more agitated the further I go in.

Always vibed with that name.

So people have called me “dumb, mentally challenged, and cringe”, but you shower them in hearts and ask me to leave instead. A person throws in the most controversial subject of BfA into this thread - you ask me to leave.

I’ve got a new copypasta

Your obsession with likes only strengthens what Blindbulb just said.

I’m not asking you to leave, I’m requesting you take a break for your own good.
And the heart thing? It’s because they’re not wrong about the whole darkfallen and other RP things. I do, however, think that straight up insulting you IS wrong. I do get where it’s coming from, with you basically refusing to listen to whatever anyone says.

Also, please remember, like many, many have said before, stop taking stuff people say about characters personally. IC=IC and OOC=OOC.

Yeah, that was uncalled for and I apologize for my derogatory way of name-calling you. Fair point.

The hearts/upvotes are as useless/meaningless as a collection of bumblebee wings in a jar of vinegar beyond gaging what the mood of a thread is. Granted, it’s more preferable than straight up downvotes from the past (That stuff could be soul crushing).

You haven’t been willing to have a conversation but instead devolved to dying on your hill and being petty towards others. (This does not justify people, like me, being demeaning to you however)

I don’t follow on this one.

Blindbulb put it best here.

The reason I assume it’s them waiting for plagued corpses to rise is because that very quest, “Rude Awakening”, describes you the player as waking up. With no real clear indication of whether or not you are literally waking up or figuratively waking up with the return of your newly freed will.

About time you woke up. We were ready to toss you into the fire with the others, but it looks like you made it.

I am Mordo, the caretaker of the crypt of Deathknell. And you are the Lich King’s slave no more.

Another of the walking dead, hm? Must have been quite a shock, waking up in the crypt with only the cold and Mordo to greet you…
I see the confusion on your face. Let me try to explain our… situation… to you.

Hi :]

Blindbulb said hello here.

(Hello, single word posts aren’t long enough for Blizzard’s cruel 10 character limit)

Well all I’ll say is that it surely has nothing to do with the < and > symbols haha that’d be crazy if that was related.

Okay, so the indignant dishonesty really just kept going.

San’layn are a specific kind of vampiric undead elf in service to the Scourge and hated for their ways. A hunted villain.

Darkfallen are (now) a catch-all for undead elves. An undead elf loyal to the forsaken is typically one of the dark rangers; an elite force of archers who may or may not be banshees piloting their corpses like Sylvanas. Not vampire elves.

People can play either as long as they accept the consequences of doing so.

I allow the possibility of non-DR Darkfallen from earlier years to exist as well.

The last bit there really just reinforces my assumption that you’re at best fundamentally misunderstanding what san’layn and darkfallen are and at worst you’re being mad at us for pointing out how your cherished character makes no bloody sense and would be rightfully scorned; you have a character, a non DR darkfallen with a long backstory to justify it and you’re clearly invested in it, its validity and darkfallen as san’layn as Horde.

If you’d just clarify what this character is, specifically that you’re spending days trying to justify conceptually by proxy and hypotheticals to a broader community with particular ideas about lore adherence and consistency, we could help you work out the kinks and be constructive. Instead, we get this.

Why are you even having a go at Gabrindion who’s not done any of these things and has generally just tried to have an actual discussion with you?
