I been staring Alpha Mage Trees and

The base tree has half stuff spread around that are mandatory baselines…

Like the first 8 point bracket you absolutely want them all excluding Nova Talents and maybe CS’s and Invisible speed boost.

Looks like Im rolling Rogue, Shaman, PRiest or Druid they look super awesome.

I knew they put somebody on Mage design who is 100% clueless raid addon joker.

They should just make that stuff level-up rewards again and either make the trees smaller or put effects with actual choices in their place.

They always talk about player agency/choice but having 30% of the talent tree being straight-up mandatory kinda goes against that philosophy.

Yeah would be better if after level 10 one Talent point and one permanent skill or passive afterwards per level alternating every other level you gain. And also these Trees look super confusing to look at. They are overdoing it again.

It feel like devs themselves are lost right now. And if this is 1 month ago situation at design table why the hell publish something like this?

It does kinda feel like they’ve taken every impactful talent/soulbind/azerite trait/legendary/artifact trait from the last three expansions and thrown them at a wall.
