I donāt care about most of it, honestly.
I want new content and the patch wonāt have very much of that, unfortunately.
Stillā¦ Iām looking foward to playing around with an updated talent tree. And to the fact that I can use my favorite mounts for skyriding. Itās not going to fill 5 weeks of time though. Soā¦ Iām keeping a low activity level until early access.

Account wide is such a nice change. Iām really excited for it. Something so simple is just so nice.
And ofc all the talent tree changes so I can be clueless how to play my class for the first hour xD

But I hardly play alts. I mean sure, Iāve leveled a bunch through remix. But come TWW Iām all in on Tahra again. The system just doesnāt add anything of worth to me personally - except for a nice character selection screen. 
I could almost go on a tangent about how Blizzard are undermining players who like to focus on a single character now. Weāre being pushed towards playing āan accountā and I donāt like that one single bit.
Does ret pala get a lot of changes?
I need to get used to a few small things, but overal itās pretty much business as usual for BM (which Iām glad for, honestly).
Iām going to have a huge collection because of it because where I run solely on paladins, Iām going to get every single drop now.
I played a bit of beta, but theyāve done some stuff since then. Initial change is always bleurgh then you get used to it

Well, not only, but itās rare. I have a max level monk and druid (through Remix), but I doubt Iāll ever log them in again, unless Blizzard start doing class specific content again like in Legion. 
What does the pre patch have to offer ? New race / talents ?
I was settled to only play Paladin. Been looking forward to warbands for months just to do old raids, dungeons and even all the quests again to get ALL the gear, even if Iād only wear the plate.
Then I realised, I need one of each class just to learn the tier sets so I went on an undelete rampage whilst its off cooldown. I donāt think I will seriously play most of them but collecting the mogs is gonna be great!

I donāt enjoy collecting it if my hunter canāt wear it. In fact; itāll only be frustrating (because overal I think leather has much better options for a hunter).

donāt do that puny you might die of old age.
And for psychos like me that were already basically 1 man heroic guilds before remix and have now doubled or i think even tripled their charpool, it opens up the option of really going nuts and maxing out ATT at a hilariously fast pace if so desiredā¦
Though part of me kinda fears exactly thatā¦ That IĀ“ll just go hog wild grabbing every mog that isnāt nailed down, and then after say 6 months just have no more old content to do anymore other than to reminisce about long past times when I used to be legitimately good ā¦ And IĀ“m not sure if thatĀ“s a good thing or a bad thingā¦ 
Warbands. basically all of your chars on your account are now a 1 man guild without being a guild. Also includes bind on Warband gear (Basically every time oyu get an item, you have a chance to get a 3 ilvl slightly lower additional item that is basically bind on account and becomes souldbound when equipped. A common, expandable bank which will be a godsend to many crafters, esp those that generally mostly craft for themselves but constantly have to shuffle mats from one char or bank to another. Basically the Diablo 3 chest, but in WoW, if that helps any.
Also:
Slightly modified and in some cases heavily reworked talent trees (shammy, they also get a new raidbuff baseline, raid-wide windfury and 3% mastery )
Account wide reputations for MOST but not all reputations.
Account wide achievement progress sharing (for ex collect 1000x, is now not only on one char, so a lot of people are going to log in and watch their Achieve points just go up and up and upā¦)
Some UI changes and edfiting options
A new camera as well as occlusion options
Iām fairly certain skyriding, formerly dragonriding, will now encompass most of your flying mounts and be togglable with āBC-flyingā, now called IIRC static flying
And ofc the Prepatch event itself
IĀ“m probably missing things, but the warbands, talent changes, and syriding are IMO the major āfeaturesā

A friend rerolled to another class earlier in this expansion and he was like I havenāt really learnt my rotation yet. So I replied just press whatever is shiny. To which he replied, they are all shiny!!!

IĀ“m still hoping Frostfire-Fire is tuned competitively, one because it looks awesome and two because last time I tested it near the start of beta it was just this insane flurry of hot streaks of and instant frostfireballs the just felt so unbelievably satisfying to pull off properlyā¦ But I fear the sun kings legacy may āblessā us again (Still donĀ“t like SKB after all this time, canĀ“t help it) and make Sunfury kinda must goā¦ we shall see what happoens.
