On lower MMR people are where the unexperienced playerbase is, and half of the times, players don’t know what they are even suppose to do, however in higher MMR, players assign their own roles and coordinate with eachother by communicating, last night precisely, we won a game whilst facing a MW and between a Fury Warrior and myself we were on top of the MW with zero issue.
So by that logic that I’ve said above, what it is that your team and yourself are doing wrong? have you ever thought why you guys are losing games without reflecting on the possibility that you all might of just committed more than few mistakes?
I think it’s a little bit easy to pull the ‘but I did this so you must suck’-card.
I can safely tell you, even if I, playing my Outlaw rogue, who has super good mobility and a lot of CC, am Alliance on Twin Peaks facing a Mistweaver Monk, I’ll still lose. Why? The mistweaver will simply jump off and chi-torpedo to his base. My grapple cannot follow that.
Given that you’re saying ‘we’ and mention a fury warrior specifically I’m assuming you were a healer and grouped together, which makes me believe you were in coms together as well. That’s also a deciding factor on timing DR’s.
There’s so many factors that come into play. Neither you or I play 100% flawless all the time and depending on our class are focused on doing entirely different things. As an Archon shadowpriest I literally have no slows at all. So all I can do is big damage and offhealing. While on my Outlaw rogue, I’ve got some slows and some really good CC. And then there’s a dependancy on teammates too.
You could argue low rating has something to do with it too. But personally I’ve found low rating to be far more enjoyable than high rating.
On another note, do we really want healers to run flags? Or let’s put the question differently: Do we want to FORCE healers to run flags?
I’ve run into plenty of MW mains who refuse to queue on their mistweaver because they just don’t want to run the flag and are generally forced to or ridiculed for not wanting to.
And hahah, jokes on you, Zzugityzug. Blizzard doesn’t acknowledge draws.
This is coming from you, not me, but whichever suits your agenda, if your team cannot work together in stopping a MW from capping a flag, you do not deserve the victory sorry to tell you.
Some unfortunately have chat disabled, I always assume some can’t read (tunnel-vision/language), some will ’do their own thing regardless’… -bit optimistic to suggest players ’just communicate/coordinate’, as we can’t expect players to herd 6-7 randoms w/o chat.
But it is a team effort. Communication & coordination really are key. Teams that do, deserve the win.
No one is expected to keep up with a MW alone (yet), but a few players working together, it’s absolutely doable.
I’m sure there were posts about Rated Solo BGs (before Blitz was a thing) suggesting that trying to coordinate Randoms (esp when pressure was on) would be tough/toxic.
This MW launching off ledge thing…
CC mid air, let them take all that fall damage & burn most of their mobility by the time they get to water.
I’d love to see a Hunter trap one on that ledge & knock him off that cliff (double pts if MW has a slowfall buff).
You mean a guardian druid immune to everything, speeding through map solo, like there is no tomorrow? Im not sure which meta was more stupid, this or the current one.
Im pretty certain about this. Considering Im playing this expansion for over a week and havent gotten a forum ban yet, so either muricans realized the censorship of reason is wrong or they dont read anything here anymore. We both know which one of the 2 is the more probably answer.
The problem appears to be more like a low rating issue, the higher you go the less problem you will see in MW.
Even to the point when MW life become miserable experience, because he can’t even cross the map, being constantly hunt down and focused by half of the team.
