I came back after year break - strating solo shuffle with 2k MMR

So i am back, kinda rusty and still undeargeared (717 pvp ilvl), why am i tormented into playing my first solo shuffle on 2k rating and doing 0-6 for few shuffles straight before i am matched with people that can have some lacks in gear.

Maybe its just me but i feel like coming back should give you a little dopamine shot to keep you invested, now i have few hours of tanking my old MMR to play normally and kinda recover after long hiatus.

Cause there aint any algo that would take ilvl as factor later in the season even though there defo should. It’s the same for all. My character that I hadnt played for over a year, I had as 707 ilvl in honor gear que into shuffles and it were put straight to 2200mmr middle of season, now that wouldnt matter start of season as all would be on same ilvl but middle of season it makes no sense. I had to lose like 50 rounds before I could even start making my first conquest from shuffles on it.

Ilvl need to be as one factor for the matchmaking algo or there need to be some own bracket for low ilvl to farm conquest in. This late in season some 2200mmr has ppl stuck in full gear with like 4k played there, honor geared ppl will just give them short term easy boost till they drop again, and they dont need conq anymore as theyre full gear, all they need is watch some videos to l2p but they dont need easy temporary ratings from honor geared ppl trying gear. This soloqs system is just full bad for gearing.

I dont want matching by ilvl, i think some spectacular players can do nice stuff even with bad gear, lets not keep low gear and low skill players with these beasts

But i think that MMR should be decreasing when you are not playing (i came back after year or so…)
