I can’t find a good Tmog with mail

Hey guys,

Not even trolling, this is serious.

I wanted to make a badass female NE hunter, mostly trying to use the most recent gear to get the 3D parts on legs, hands and boots.

I wanted to go with a Light/Fire golden armor theme but it’s extremely difficult to not only find gear with those themes but matching colors.

I can do it with Leather, Plate and even Cloth to some extend, but mail is really hardcore no heal perma game over mode

If you have any suggestions, I’m all ears because I just have no clue right now :slightly_frowning_face:

Mail armor is worst in terms of transmog, i’m mixing different items in a hope it won’t be ugly, or trying to farm heritage, tier sets which are good. You can try Eagletalon Battlegear (Normal Lookalike)

Mythic antorus set. The gold and red shaman looking one is really really nice imo

Yeah, Mail is the worse looking armor.
In my case I cant find any helmet that fits my bodie.

For any kind of Elf, mog is basically non-existant as a Hunter :sob: :sob: :sob:
The Night elves are kinda lucky (tho not that much) because they have the Darkshore Kaldorei archer set… but thats it

No imagination around here. Try mixing and matching. Taigertraps is a good example of what can be done with mail gear.

Did you check pandaland PVP vendors for mogs?
My shamans come from there, pretty nice if you ask me ^^

Not totally my style but it’s pretty good.
You’re using 2 pieces that are not mail though ! But it fits

I haven’t yet, I’ll get a look at them on the PTR!

I want to play a hunter night elf because all the other ranged options make you have a transformation and it annoys me : druid, shadow priest…

And I tried mage before, really don’t like it lol

I find season one and two hunter set amazing, same with the t3 hunter set which i use for my hunter.
Some mix with heart of fear set and others are pretty good aswell, think the key is to mix sets or random green items ^^

I’d reccomend the nighthold set

Prefer normal, but any difficulty will do! it looks the best on worgens & elves

If you are looking for a full set (minus maybe the boots coz they are so chunky) then I would recommend the Nighthold set too. It’s perfect for a Night Elf. The pvp one is particularly nice colour-wise.

If you collect a lot of transmogs, it certainly becomes easier (check out the uncollected tab in the transmogs catalogue in-game - definitely helped me target specific raids for gear).

Sadly, a lot of the earlier stuff is very basic and then it seems to morph into very Shaman-like gear and now there’s tentacles and eyes on all the gear for the current content. Hopefully in the new expansion, there’s a bit more variety.

I’m looking at the mail sets (even green/blue ones) from wowhead, helps me find a color theme and style.

I was really attracted to the wolfhead shoulder armor but… MOP challenge set… dammit ! :cry:
