I cancelled my subscription and payment was taken

I cancelled my subscription and just found that payment had been taken via my CC statement. I had to go on the WOW accounts page and cancel it a second time. WTF?

Payment is currently pending processing your end, if you stop it now it might make things simpler

I was cancelling because of the guild bank data loss shenanigans from last year which you never resolved or gave compensation for. Im going to dispute the payment with my CC if it goes through

I have a screenshot taken on 14Jan of me putting in my cancellation reason to the form and the renewal just occurred today (24Jan)

best way to do it is prolly contact customer support.

Customer Support for some things, yes … but you need to make a ticket as Larionn suggested as they’re not going to discuss private financial stuff in an open forum.

Thanks Ive manged to send something via the web page support. It was quite a battle with the ai bots to find any way of sending a message to anyone. Who knows if it actually goes anywhere that gets read

Edit: Had a response within 5mins saying they would do a refund. So seems that is the correct way to deal with this. Panic over hopefully (if I get the refund, 2-3days extimated) and thanls again for the advice
