Hello, some time ago I started playing the game on the Turalyon realm and I wanted to change this realm by creating a completely new character on another realm. The problem is that when I click to change the realm to another one, e.g. Defias Brotherhood, all the characters from Turalyon are loaded.
The new character screen now shows all of your characters for all realms at once, regardless of which realm you select.
You can still create new characters on specific realms though by doing what you did, select the realm, then click create to create the character on the selected realm.
The new character will be added to the existing list of characters, but it will be on the realm you chose.

What you described is intended, as with the new Warband interface the character selection screen is meant to show ALL of your characters, regardless of realm 
This however does not have any effect on the realm selected to create a new character. In other words, as long as the realm you select (in your case Defias Brotherhood) is the realm you want to have your character created on, you can safely proceed with the character creation procedure and the new character will be created in the intended server
