I can't find an abandoned quest

The quest I abandoned is Devastation in Badlands
It’s part of a long sequence of quests in which some of them appear in the quest log as soon as the previous one has been completed.
I’ve tried looking for the npc but I can’t find him anywhere, even at the coordinates where he’s supposed to be.
Is there an option to take it back?

Unfortunately if you have abondonded it then they only way to take it back is to find the NPC that gave you it in the first place.

That’s a little tricky when it’s a series as it depends on what stage you were at and there’s likely a few NPC’s to check or the one that gave you it moves around. WoWHead lists the series so you could use that to try find out the locations of the picks up for each stage and visit each one.

You don’t have to finish the questline; you can move on to another zone. But this is one of the best questlines in WoW, so you deserve to see the end of it. Rhea’s Last Egg is still in my bank, since Cataclysm.

This seems to be an “Auto-accept” quest. It isn’t given by a questgiver or object, so you can’t just find the start again.

Having read the comments on

and its precursor

and knowing Auto-accept quests, I can only suggest you travel out of the zone, perhaps back to Stormwind, log out, log in again, and then fly back to Badlands. Often, auto-accept quests will re-offer themselves when you re-enter their target area.

If that doesn’t work, I can suggest is to make a support ticket, explain clearly what happened and that you have already consulted Wowhead, and hope that a Game Master can force the quest back onto you.

There is one really far-out other option I can think of, but I hope it would not be necessary.
