For some reason I can’t get a guild invite on one character ,it’s character that I deleted and recovered , could there be some issue after recovering a character ? .
Block Guild invites is off and there’s only 27 accounts in the guild I was getting an invite from , I have 1 character in the guild already , other than that I don’t know what the problem is.
Is there a limit some members have to guild invitations ? maybe I need a higher ranking guildie ?

Perhaps there’s a certain length of time after recovering a character that has to pass before it will be able to be invited into a guild? There sometimes seems to be some time delay before people making a change to their account - a name change, realm change, etc - until it seems to register completely in-game.
What’s the character name? Does it show in the Armories? Is it the same faction as the guild?

It’s on a SoD realm so I don’t think the Armory covers that and yea I’m horde trying to join a horde guild .
I had multiple people try to invite me with no effect .
However I think you may be right about some kind of CD on recovering a character and joining a guild
I’m not aware of any cooldown on guild invites or limitations on the amount a member can invite. I’ve re-invited members back to guild after restoring a deleted character many times without an issue.
The different guild ranks can be set to either allow members of the rank to invite people or not. There’s no higher ranks when it comes to invites, it’s just a simple yes/no permission.
Have you tried without any addons enabled? They can sometimes cause the invite popup to not show, even just on a single character.
You could also try the /gquit command to leave a guild. Even though your not in a guild sometimes using the command helps resolve invite issues.
If it is a cooldown it should only be for 24 hours, if it doesn’t work after that try opening a ticket.
I take it when you /gquit it says you aren’t in a guild?

I did try without addons . so did the guy doing the inviting .ill give /gquit a go though thanks

nothing happens when they invite me
I have one character in the guild already ,
the character I’m trying to get into this guild was deleted and recovered , I know if I want to recover my mage its still on recovery Cooldown for around 26 hours . can that be the reason ?
As I say a few people in the guild tried to invite me but I don’t receive an invite . I’ve done /gquit even though I’m not currently in a guild just incase.

did the people doing the inviting get any messages/errors?
Yes there was an error message to the person who tried last night, something along the lines that he/she was in a guild .
Not exactly sure now as I was just going into BFD when the person tried . but that’s the gist of it .

Probably saying you’re already in a guild, but in order to get an accurate message you’d have to ask them to take a screenshot or something to make sure. I know you said you did a /gquit … but try again?
It might need Blizzard to sort something … I wonder if, prior to your character deletion previously it was in a guild and, when you’ve recovered it, it’s retained that “in a guild” flag, without actually being in a guild.
One more suggestion - try
/script declineguild()
exactly like that in the chat box ingame (and thanks to those who reminded me what the actual script was.) If that fails I think you may have to make a ticket so a GM can look into it further.
