Iâm guessing Blizzard doesnât want people possibly getting 2 mounts with one 6-month sub.
Just keep 6 months rolling then⌠Set a calendar event a week before renewal and make choices. The mounts are loyalty rewards.
I do think it should be until your time expires tho. 5 months left, not on auto renew should be considered an active sub.

If I renew now (I canceled too, due to being in bad funds place sadly) and my sub runs out on dec 2025, will I pay next time after the whole gametime runs out or whenever 6/12 mo is up?
Itâs your typical renewal⌠you only pay once your current sub expires. So you can apply for a renewal, and cancel it before it happens and youâd get the mount if youâve got 6+months active sub right now.
I wish those âloyalty rewardsâ would be awarded retroactively, meaning you get them AFTER 6 months of subscribtion, not as a bonus for signing up for another 6 months.
I have been subbed to this game for 14 years on the monthly plan, and i never got a loyalty reward.

Absolutely agree with this, imagine how many people are similar⌠subbed for over a decade ⌠weâve all been HAD! Blizzard are laughing all the way to the bank.

I feel this is a really questionable business practice. If someone has an active 6/12 month subscription, they should get these rewards.
It doesnât affect me, but these sort of unnecessarily customer-unfriendly restrictions make the company look desperate. Yes, itâll slightly increase revenue from people who forget to cancel their subscription, but in turn it turns off some of the companyâs most loyal customers.
A happy customer is more likely to stick around and make additional purchases than one who feels unappreciated. Really basic stuff and itâs puzzling to me that especially large businesses lack that awareness.
