On the forums I have the Portuguese section available to me, and in-game I can’t uncheck the Portuguese language in the group finder: https://i.imgur.com/QgOnzJ7.png. I don’t speak Portuguese, I’ve never even been to Portugal.
How can I fix this?

But seriously, I honestly don´t have a clue, even as a german speaker living primarily in Germany I can deselect German just fine… So I can only offer comedy relief 
Although… are you maybe using a VPN routed through a portugese IP address?

short answer you can not as they were added to english speaking group years ago.

After checking in game… yeah, I can´t deselect them either
But it kinda makes sense now that I think about it… In the EU, the Portugese speaking population is relatively small, whereas in the americas it´s comparatively large as a result of historical conquest /colonization (Brazil, for example…)

As Alaric said, can’t be deselected as they’ve been added to the English groups for some while already.

Okay but can they at least remove the forum sections then? I can’t read it and it’s taking up space.
No because they are part of the English realms and therefore part of the English forums. It’s a separate subsection. Just don’t go in there.

Nobody forces you to read it? Heck, I don’t even go in there despite occassionally bumping into PT threads. Even funnier I get all the time Russo, Spanish, Ukro, French, German or other threads on the English forums and I don’t even bother to bat an eye anymore.
