Because I already use X to sit, A is strafe left, B opens my bags and Y is my interrupt. So that just leaves 4 shoulder buttons. How is that going to work??!?1?

Have a friend who recently set it up - but he said
“Finally got the Controller thing setup properly - if anyone else is considering it, give me a shout as it’s finicky”
If you like can send him this link?
It was a rubbish joke post, for I have been deprived from sensible company that doesn’t involve a three year old for too long. But thank you for taking the time to reply and be helpful! You have warmed my heart UwU
Lockdown is driving us all crazy atm
Same but mines 4, almost 5 amazing how mental they can send you isn’t it??
I’m the primary carer for my child anyway so lockdown is basically my regular life only with less places open for us to go to

See the gag is that the Xbox pad has X Y A and B and those are used for other things on the keyboard
It is hilarious when I explain it
You may laugh now
I got it! Maybe you have to be an exhausted parent
It’s actually very easy: you attach an arm-splitter to your shoulders and play with two extra arms each side, for a total of 3 controllers. Make sure you have three different ones, so the keys don’t clash.
You need to Mechanize first, though. A small price to pay for the comfort and flexibility!

They’re going to release WoW on console in a year’s time so please just wait until then
What is humour?
Ion said currently there’s zero plans for WoW on console and the controller support they’re coding in the game is to allow players with disabilities to be able to use things like the Xbox Adaptive Controller more easily. According to him, they can do it now, but that requires jumping through many hoops and Blizz wants to make that process easier for them.
Good because wow with a controller could never work, unless you remove 99% of all abilities.
I probably got over 100 keybinds in total on my main, good luck getting that working on a controller.
When I played with Console Port, I had 40 keybinds for skills and 24 keybinds for consumables, mounts, some macros (like party leaving macro). All very easily accessible. A controller is really powerful. I stopped using that addon because of some lacking functionality. Mostly because doing quests where you have to click on objects was very annoying.
As I told you before, I actually playing with a PS controller. I leveled up mage from 20 to 120 with it. Arrows for movement/directions , middle buttons for abjust the camera angle and zoom in/out , 1 button for Arcane Missiles, 1 button for Blink, 1 button for Interrupt, 1 button for Ice Block. I dont even use the 4 buttons on the top.
There is a free app/program to keybind your joystick.
I think this will change in the future. They often change their mind about things. We’ll see!
As long as they don’t make me buy WoW again on console, I’ll probably play it on the PS5
It’s honestly a bit disheartening to hear that it’s only for accessibility… FFXIV have proven that you can play a mmo like wow perfectly with a controller. And a certain addon in wow have also proven that it works. The only thing missing that would make it perfect was native camera controls as well as a movement option that made it so your character always moves forward no mater what direction you move, so that you don’t have to turn the camera all the time to avoid backpedaling.
It simply shouldn’t be just accessibility it should be advertised as an additional way to play the game for those who want it. Not to mention that denying themselves the console marked would be asinine seeing how console and computer architecture is practically the same which means that porting shouldn’t be too taxing.
