I’m trying to change Audio language whilst keeping English as text language, but it always goes back to English/English in game…
I have modified install and selected Francais as spoken, gone to game settings on the battle net menu and changed audio to French, but when i open the game it only show’s English in the Languages options and doesn’t let me change it. 
Correct. The Wow Client doesn’t have the ability to have different languages for written (text), and spoken. This has always been a popular request, but never actioned.
Keep in mind that its a potentially bannable offense to modify the installation files, if it gets detected by Warden.

Aaaahhh okay. Thank you for confirming this. I couldn’t find proper statements anywhere. I just like having audio in foreign languages because it makes it sound more “fantastical” if I can’t understand what people are saying xD
But this isn’t the end of the world, I am learning French and can make my way through a surprising amount of content.
