I cant use the word BLACK or WHITE in my guild name?

Ah. I thought these two letters looked identical in the game’s font. There used to be a The ScarIet Crusade RP guild here and you couldn’t tell the L in scarlet was an I.

But that was years ago anyway, so you might be right. And, come to think of it, when people try to /who your guild it wouldn’t come up unless they knew it was an I. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think “angry” is a better word.

It’s why I “try to” no longer get involved with these ideologies, because they were just annoying me to no end.
Just take solace, they are all ideologies - not law (yet…)

You can use all the Rainbow Colours :))

even the word “negro” or “negra” is just Spanish/Latin for black
but it became a racist term as it was misused by people.
Blizzard just took the easy way and blanket band instead of looking at each name
its easier for them to do so than to care what you call your guild
you can always use shadow/light in place :stuck_out_tongue:

I can’t understand why they don’t just go 18+, it’s not like kids are worth that much money to the game anyway. Plus no one wants them in guilds or groups.

Isn’t there a PvP team called Method Black? Do naming conventions not apply to this?

You never heard about the african-american dragonflight or the caucasian dmg numbers?

You could use a synonym. Like Obsidian or Ebony. That sounds cooler too.

When you’re deprived from using one of your favorite colors in guild names or names in general cause its mature to list a color you learnt in primary school

The reason is unfounded paranoia and radical SJW agendas that are toally out of touch with reality. This is simply a lazy aproach to the problem similar to the debated uload filter. Instead of solving things case by case they simply ban the anything closely related to it. Problem is that words simply are a standin for something so you can always create new ones or use different laguages. The problem never ends unless you adress the underlying issue.
SJW culture is flawed since it has changed into a tool for people to get what they want, everything is racist it suits you everything is sexist if it suits you. Equality means both getting the good and bad along with the oprtunities that come with it.
Also blizzard doesnt want to invest the manpower to control the situation, so they opt into automatic systems.

you can use the word no idea what you are talking about .

Go try to make a guild called the Black or White something and youll see mature warning.
And then you’ll have an idea of what Im talking about…

Reason blackrose isn’t being caught is because its in combination with rose.

This reminds me of an old joke.

Officially there was no seks in USSR. All that years he’s been raging in China instead.

Same applies to ‘common sense’ and ‘west’ nowadays.

What if the guild’s been created years ago?
I remember in the first days of WoW you could create toons with names like Arthas, Sylvanas etc. Blizz has changed - restricted - that a while after but some toons with names still sticked around.

Just use the yellow one :joy::rofl:

Here ya go:

I always wondered the same thing because kids these days play COD and fortnite and some are switching to Apex legends I have not seen a single lower then 16 years old person in wow and that was only one time I came across a 16 year old person and that was I think 5 or 6 years ago.

Blizzard should really stop with unnecessary censorship and tell me has anyone seen or heard anyone below 18 or 16 playing this game???.

Stalker was not allowed last time i tried for a rogue. And for some reason they would not allow me to use chungking for my panda. Thats preposterous TBH.

Really though it is not about censoring the words black or white, it is about stopping those immature people who would use them in conjunction with other words to make racist guild names. Whilst I am sure a large majority would not think of doing such, we all know that some would.

Because it contains the word “King” which is a title, titles aren’t permitted. This one is more of a lore thing than an abuse thing.
