which is why all these VPN services feel like a scamm when you have to sign up for 2 and a half years at the time

anyone who subs on a 6 month basis are just asking to get screwed over when blizzard inevitably screws the game up to epic proportions.
i have done 1-month subs since the dawn of world of warcraft (so 20-21 years by now) and i don’t intend on ever subbing for more than 1 month at a time, nor have i ever done so.
the amount of money you save is so insignificant that only someone who is flat out broke, indebted and destitute and forced to turn every penny just to survive would have to seriously rethink their subscription model.
there’s a reason blizzard want to entice you to get that 6 month sub model, because that means blizzard wins and can afford to screw up…
if they screw up, well sikes, they already got your money and you unsubbing won’t matter because you have already been suckered into paying them up front for basically no benefit to yourself.
the only world in which a 6 month sub model is worth considering is one where blizzard consistently never screws up and only delivers a high quality product.
in other words; don’t be an idiot. change your sub model to a monthly basis and eat that extra dollar, like a sane person…
