Yes they should have a way to identify whether you completed the trading post or not.

Usually, with bugs like this, the task goes to an engineer somewhere to identify the root cause (to fix the issue) and then a data or insights analyst to work out a robust way of identifying who was impacted when it was broken so they can grant the reward en-masse to everyone at the same time.

Having CS action each individual ticket isn’t really feasible.

When the CS agent says they are looking into it, there’s probs an analyst somewhere writing out a query to identify every player with the issue so the engineers can then grant the reward on next reset

So my experience was a little bit different

I completed the Trading Post Adventure Journal in day 1, when the mount was not in the last reward point, so I did not got the reward.

But I saw the DepthStalker in shop and tried to buy it, however it did not let me do it, since it shown the data of the mount was still trying to be loaded in the game.

I have opened a ticket after I found out I should had gotten the map, but as for now I have no response.

Cant they just trigger another chest action, so when i click on it, if I dont have the mount, I am going to get it? Man this is not that hard to develop

Given how Blizzard “Solved” the missing guild items issue, I wouldn’t hold your breath.

You just got to kick up a fuss on the customer support section of the forums to actually talk to a coherent human being who knows what they’re talking about.

A few things went missing off my account a while back, and was told to just deal with it, and I won’t get my stuff back. Whined about it on the CS forums, and got to speak to a CS employee who literally give me back my items.

So is there any news/progress on those of us who should’ve gotten the mount but haven’t yet? Anything we should do or know?

they have stopped being GMs years ago. They are now just customer service spokesmen

Sadly for a little while GMs are no longer allowed under any circumstances to give out items.

Did it for me with physical tabard at the end of DF

like i said its only been a lil while and they can not do it anymore and gz for you i guess, just read the CS forums and they will say the same.

Update! It just showed up in my collections! (I noticed since I got the Mountacular achievement when I logged into an alt). So I guess they fixed it

Same, as for today it showed it in my collection, maybe it showed earlyer but i did not had time to open wow yesterday.

I had a similar issue previous month. I opened the chest got the tender but mount nowhere to be found. It turned out I used a filter that filtered out the mount. :grinning:
