I contacted a GM about the Depthstalker mount, their response

“We are aware of the issue but there is not workaround currently”
“We are looking into it”

Why can’t the GM simply give the mount like I asked? I don’t get it, maybe someone who is more tech literate than me can explain it?

Because if they did that, everyone would make tickets making up something that happened to them begging for rare items.

Not saying you are making anything up, but some people might.

Can’t they check my collection and see that I don’t have the mount? They also must have a way to check that I completed October’s trading Post.
I don’t buy it.
And it’s a free mount that everyone gets so…

They aren’t allowed to. They simply won’t have the permissions on the system to do it.

Ok that makes sense. Will just have to wait then. Hopefully they didn’t break something and people can get their mounts.

Whats the problem with the mount? I got it 2 days ago.

So basicaly, on the 1st of October the mount was missing from the journal, instead it was being sold for 600(?) tender at the Trading Post shop.
If, like me, you finished the montly progress and unlocked to Chest and looted it, you got the 1000 tender but not the mount. The mount was missing.

Some players actually bought the Depthstalker with tender and now they are trying to get the tender back.

I had 1800 Traders Tender saved up. It has now vanished. This game honestly…

My issue is a bit different. I didn’t know the Depthstalker mount was supposed to be the “free” mount of the month, so I spent the 600 points and bought it. This essentially means I spent 600 points on a mount I would be able to get anyways by normal gameplay. I contacted support and fully explained the situation, only to be told 3-4 times in a row that refunds beyond the 2 hour period are not allowed, even though my situation is unique and not a typical buyer’s remorse.

Did you freeze the mount before you bought it?

They can but they won’t. They dont even help to resolve bugged quests that cant be reaccepted.
Prob have some more serious issues to deal with

Same here, I did the monthly reward quite early and only received 500 tenders from the chest but no mount, now I can’t even interact with the chest or anything.

At one time, GM’s could give out items. Players took advantage of this and found new and novel ways to trick them into giving them items they weren’t actually entitled to.

So management stopped them giving items to anyone.

Yes so did I. This was my 12th trading post and I wanted to have the Justice tmog as soon as I could. Which is why I completed the tasks in the first day.

I put in a ticket and had a conversation. They were aware of issues, developers were working on it. Later they implemented a fix. (I guess that’s why some have it now). But people like me/us who finished the track too early are still not receivung it. They said they hadn’t heard from enough people that they had trouble with this. So issue still isn’t resolved and I don’t know what to do now.
