Blizzard has not changed my name since Cataclysm, they wont do it now. My Battlenet is even called Rabies.
I have spoken with Moderators using the name Rabies.

So blizzard obviously approves.
However this is a FANTASY game that makes the area of apropriate names alot bigger.

Theft hurts society.

Someone having an odd name that that person uses to RP with on an RP server doesnt matter.

My battle.net nickname is Rabies.

I was a dwarf once. But then this name fell into my lap and i embraced it.
I became Rabies. I am Rabies, Rabies the Magnificent.

And i like it. I’ve liked it for years, and i will like it for years to come. And honestly i dont understand the entire explosive discussion for it.

I also have an Undead Hunter that calls himself Rabies.

I guess i’ll have to write some kind of story to justify it?
