The fact that it did to begin with is very disheartening.
Probably, yes.
Was the stupid game the decision of his name, the thread itself from itâs original point, or when he decided to change the threadâs name? Because varying on your response to this, I may or may not agree with you to some extent.
I agree with this wholeheartedly.
People are weird my dude I have seen people get bent out of shape over a shirt and be offended cause they can be itâs a silly thing but at the same time if I go into a church decked out in metal head gear with a goat and pentagram bedecked shirt and five different evil symbols around my neck I have no right to be upset when the preacher shoots me a dirty look itâs called learning to read the room
I would say deciding to engage on the point in question ie changing the thread name and fighting these people on the point rather than ignoring them and doing his best to keep the thread on topic
love that movie
This I agree with. At the same time, OP strikes me as someone who is not yet mature and rather new to the forums, whereas the others in here strike me as seasoned players who should be mature and know when to stop. Especially considering that Iâve seen some of them for years here.
itâs very hard to judge that, i find. i know someone whoâs 20 years old but types like heâs 14 and new to everything
Pride is a funny thing my dude we take pride in odd things in our lives I donât know maybe I am in a philosophising mood today and I can see why he did what he did even though it was stupid or maybe I am dead wrong and this was done to wind people up.
Absolutely, Iâve met such people as well, however I meant it more in regard to how he handled the pressure.
Could be a factor, especially given how OP takes pride in his name. Yet, he does strike me as someone who is very young and inexperienced.

Daily reminder this thread takes up almost the entire running time of animated cinematic masterpiece âThe Loraxâ.

But what I really want to know is whether the name relates to the Maid Marian tv show (1989-1994) featuring a character of the same designationâŚ

I think this thread - the part in which the owner of the thread is attacked - exemplifies well why I am usually perceived as a âcontrarianâ. It just happens I have a strong distaste for this attitude, which I think occurs with a certain frequency on the forums.
The worst part is that people here have actually justified attacking this worgen guy, possibly a teenager, upon the basis that he isnât aware of ADâs social codes, or that âhe has acted dumbâ. In other words, pure whataboutism justifying bad behavior. The more it is defended and promoted, the worse this community will be.
The entire criticism could have been worded much better, and definitely in a less aggressive/self-indulgent way.
And what do you think of the orc Iâm referring to in the post you just responded to me from?
What I think of the orc? That heâs trolling, basically.
As you said, I think people should have acted differently from the beginning. Either ignoring his posts (as you suggest) or explaining things in terms he could agree/reason with, rather than demeaning his presence with a repetitive âno lolz uâre not part of us go awayâ. Maybe he came with good intentions, but that triggered him.
I donât dislike him as a person and I donât have any right to tell him he shouldnât be here. I agree his points are provocations made to get a bad reaction out of RPers, but he was provoked and attacked in a much less friendly way at the very beginning. Tbh most of the peopleâs reactions here are completely out of proportion and are aimed to get a bad reaction out of him. Which they got. He didnât break down although, and thatâs something that I sympathize with.
TLDR. He behaves like a jerk but isnât the only jerk here; and definitely not the first to act like that.
Just realized that it wasnât about OP, nvm this comment
His posts in other threads suggest otherwise. But at least you tried being nice about it.
