Bluff? I never claimed that I would report anyone, nor did I insinuate that I would, I pointed out that it’s against the forum policies, in other words that the very same people who were at first bashing OP for his name being against the realm’s policies don’t have much of a leg to stand on.

You brought up the thread name as an argument, I explained that it was because of the fact that the thread itself had been derailed, and added that derailing threads are against the forum policies. While not necessary, it was relevant to the subject.

There is nothing more to it, you can keep trying to reach for anything else to pwn me with, but I honestly think it’s just you reading too much into it and thinking I have an ulterior motive. I’m here because I believe OP to have been harassed, and I’m pointing that out, I’m not here to get my fifteen minutes on a WoW forum.

yeah, but you’re not doing anything about it, are you? you clearly care about rabies being “harassed” but you’ll just result to epic ‘it’s against the rules’ statement and then not help to enforce those rules to help the guy you’re so concerned over

i’m just deconstructing the statement because i think it’s weak and you can do better, i’ve seen the ‘it’s against the forum rules’ statement a million times and no one ever actually has the miminal amount of “bravery” required to follow up on helping to deal with people who you see as breaking forum rules. this feels like the attitude that reporting people and following the rules is a lame person’s thing to do when it’s actually just very sensible

i do get why you’d think that, i used to be of a VERY similar mindset, but even if it takes some time for a report to register, it tends to do a LOT more than just telling someone ‘no bad dog’

My dude I don’t know Rabies from a plate of beans but the dude decided to play a very stupid game and got a stupid prize for his efforts, hopefully he learns from the experience and picks a name that isn’t gonna put someone’s nickers in a twist since quite frankly it’s not worth the headache when it can be avoided
