Does it get better with better gear? I feel like Disc is too weak AoE for dungeons and Holy goes OoM too fast.
What is your gear item level? With better gear the problems you mention are resolved.
Disc is broken because they can spam PoH and stack DA.
Holy Priest needs spirit on every piece of gear to deal with their mana issues.
I think my ilevel is about 334 and i’m only semi-gemmed/enchanted atm. I’m struggling with heroics but maybe I should switch back to holy.
334 is lower ilvl than even what drops in heroic dungeons, so yea, your gear isn’t exactly amazing.
Casters in general struggled with mana early on when gearing up in Cata, once you get raid gear with more int and spirit you can feel a massive difference tbh.
I play shadow, mind you, but I had issues for a bit after hitting 85 too, but it went away with gear.

Yeah, I’m just playing this DK for now but I guess I will DG as Shadow for now until I can get some currency for better gear.
Disc is Op if you play it right, but i find Holy much easier when i did my first heroics.
