Call me thick if you want, but the lore confuses me. Half the time I don’t understand what is going on. Too many fancy words like “aspirant” and “Archon”. Half the time I feel like I am watching an episode of Ulysses 31. Whatever happened to simple lore like an npc needing 5 boar heads for his stew? Lol
I have just completed a degree so I can’t be that thick? I did consider the fact that the lore is so boring that I subconsciously did not want to understand it. Does anyone else feel like this with any of the SL lore?
Archon basically is the boar’s mother! And aspirant are it’s babies!
So, you have to feed the boar’s mother, so that her milk will provide nutrients for her children!
Bastion was weird, it’s like we are fighting for what are obviously the bad guys (mind wiping, controlling the population with pseudo-religious rituals, etc) and on the other hand we take no heed of any of these questionable things. It reeks of a bad plot twist you can see from a mile away.
bastion is basically the old story of two extremes. mind wiping is some scary stuff to me, so i can see where the forsworn are coming from.
but just murdering everyone who doesn’t agree with you is far from ok.
It is probably self explanatory to me due to my mother language being Greek and Archon being a Greek word that can be translated as Lord or “the one who is the authority”
