I don't understand the Command Table

Hey there,

after I failed the first mission I began to always make sure that the five guys I send always have both, more life and attack than the opponent. That worked and I leveled both, my Companion and the troops to lvl 12.

I just finished another mission and it was successful. But I’m shocked to see that, while the Companion is still lvl 12, the troop fell back to lvl 6. Also I just found a second Companion in Torghast. He is lvl 1.

With only level 7 and above mission I can neither find a combination where I both have more life and attack than my opponents, nor can I level up the lvl 1 guys cause he makes my group even weaker.

So what do I do wrong here? Btw all are fully healed.

Wait a bit; now you have a lower level companion, the next set of missions generated should include some lower ones. Check again in the morning

The troop level I think is based on an average of your companions’ levels. Which will help pull the mission level down - but they do need to expire and reset.

I agree with this. Also the companions do get exp even from failed missions so I’ve been sending them to their deaths basically just to get exp

try to place your new champion in the back row ( bottom ) in the formation. they wont get hit unless the enemies have special range attacks, or if the front row is wiped out.

A few people have said they’ve actually had companions perma-die and disappear from the list, so maybe be careful with that

It sounds like a bug, I expect it will be fixed, but enough people have said it that it does seem to be something we should allow for. Try not to send them out on half health ^^

Thank you guys

I’ve seen those comments too. I’m sending mine to a mission only if they are at 90% or more health anyway. Would really love a timer under their health bars to see how long it’ll be until they are full. But for some reason I like the new system more than the previous mission tables.

I don’t want to open another thread for this, because this is in the same “subject” sphere.
Why do emissary quest don’t give you any Anima? only these gray items?

Because blizz probably don’t want to force the emissary quests on people, so they don’t connect them to any progression other than rep.

Ty, atleast I know its not a bug then

Thank god that they put soul ash on the mission table then LOL

They did? I have not seen it yet and i’ve done plenty of missions on that table.

But really tho… don’t stress the small stuff, It’s not worth worrying over.

Yes you can get 120 soul ash from rare missions once your followers reach lvl 20.

feels incredible stupid to replace thorgast by a facebook game. But well I won’t bother :man_shrugging:t2:

They are not “Replacing” just giving extra, and it’s a rare mission any way probably? so if you get it pop up, throw your troops at it… otherwise don’t worry about it, it’s a bonus not a requirement.

this rare mission can pop several times a week.

But yea it may be a little few soul ash to replace it completely though

I have a question about the table too…

I only have 1 companion and 2 “units” where do I go get more? All the missions that spawned for me today are way too hard just for my current team. I tried sending them on a fairly easy one just for 1000exp and they all died

I don’t feel like it’s been explained very well in game.

This doesn’t get explained in game but I found out in another thread that you can use your troops many times, just keep dragging them onto the battle field. As for more companions, I found one in torghast.

You mean I don’t just have 2 troops?? >:(

Why isn’t it explained at all? Come on Blizz!

Yeah, same for me. And it would cost 367 anima if I wanted to heal them. No idea how long it will take then to heal automatically, not paying precious anima for that.

Had it today - sent a mission that by all metrics that Blizzard is showing us in the interface I should have handily won, but instead my units got absolutely crushed.

It’s so poorly tutorialised and implemented, like they’re scared to actually include all the information you actually need to know. The HP and damage information are terribly misleading and there’s not even enough ways to control your troops. Not to mention the absurd cost to heal them (900 anima or something, that’s so laughable).

And is it me, or are the 2 available Kyrian champions and their troops so much worse than other covenants? My Necrolord and Venthyr buddies are absolutely crushing missions with no problems, while my Kyrian guys are frequently getting stuck with entire mission boards where they wouldn’t win a single one.
