I feel tricked. YouTube promised fast leveling and a shared cloak with insane power, but leveling felt as slow as Chromie Time. I’m getting one-shot by mobs, and the cloak is barely shared. Upgrades for insane power cost so much bronze.
If I had known, I would never have subscribed.
Are tou joking? Today i levelled 30 levels in 3 hours. Dobt upgrade while levelling. Do any scenario and raid and take the quests for them.
Its already been proven that retail leveling is faster than remix.
For me not. I levelled a pally in retail on 1 week. And a pally in remix in 3 days.
Themproblem in retail is 60-70. In remix now lfr is really fast cuz some ppl is able to almost solo bosses. So xp are really fast.
And im not a smart player.
The first play through is not super fast, the second is better especially if you spam dungeons and raids.
You’re also suposed to have fun.
To be fair you can hit cap here within 2 hours(though not alone). I don’t think I’ve seen that in dragonflight yet
The trick is to do raids. That really gives you huge XP gain compared to doing levelling.
I made the mistake of not raiding until I hit camp and my cloak was only at 129% from 60-70, it felt insanely slow. In contrast my friend went to raids (with me at a cap) and he got LOADS of xp gain 
I have 2 chars that are now level 70 -
BM Hunter was the 1st and did all quests, scenarios, dungeons, lots of achievements and went super fast (no raids done though) keep her ticking over now doing the dailies as want to get exalted with the reps I have left - having a blast with her for sure 
… the 2nd that made level 70 today is a feral Druid and oh my what a different experience - really struggled with her, was a total chore levelling as she is so weak, even though she got the cloak and rings/trinkets right at the start - daren’t risk a dungeon as she is pants! Won’t be playing her again.
Just started on a frost mage and already got to level 22 in circa an hour or so - she is so much better than the feral druid, will be taking her on a similar journey as the BM Hunter.

I did 60-70 in retail in about 2 hours. L2p issues really. Retail is quicker. Fact.
Spam dungeons till you can get into raids, do all of the lfr wings as each of them gives a permanent +7% exp gain to your cloak
Even farter, if you buy the carry sale! You can be carry in World of Warcraft leveling if you have a million golds.

I get to 70 within 2 days on remix and that’s just by doing questlines.
on paper following the perfect route sure but we’re people not robots
in reality in retail I lose interest at level 15 log off and never log on again on the alt
only deleting it 5 years later to make a new alt which then falls into the same cycle
The OP part and rewards are more interesting to me then the ‘fast leveling’, to me the issue was never that leveling wasn’t fast, its that leveling wasn’t engaging (also why I like leveling in classic more then in retail, classic leveling is more engaging) and being able to raid while leveling and exposing people to the endgame mechanics of gear upgrades and gems while leveling made leveling more engaging then it is in retail which to me is enough.
Remix in that sense being both engaging to level in and fast enough to level in feels like the leveling holy grail to me atleast.
