Hi! I just logged in very excited about prepatch, and so far it’s really fun.
However, I noticed I got the “Double agent” achievement today for leveling both an alliance and hore character… Except I never leveled an alliance character to max (or at least not that I can remember?). And otherwise I would’ve gotten it before instead of upon logging in right?
Does anyone know what could’ve caused this? Or does this mean that I do have a hidden alliance somewhere that doesn’t show up on the realm list? That would make my life a lot easier when unlocking allied races.

It may have been when the maximum level wasn’t 120.
But I got it today upon logging in. Wouldn’t I’ve gotten it much earlier then?
What if you levelled a character to 50 or 60 (whatever Shadowlands max is) before the squish and the game saw “has a character at 50/60” and triggered the achievement before your character levels were squished down?
Now that would be a hilarious bug.

I did have an alliace character above 60… So maybe that’s what happened!
That would be a silly bug though.
Maybe the processing stack goes “trigger achievements” before “trigger squish” and whoever oversaw that was like “eh, most people have this achievement already and switching the stack order would be a headache, that is not cost effective” and this was a “won’t fix” kind of bug situation.
I doubt that a blue will be able to enlighten you on the matter (even though it doesn’t hurt to ask) but I reckon that this is a solid working theory given the circumstances.

Same problem here, as others have said. The events for the achievements triggered due to the level squeeze.
I have 3 achievements I’m not sure I should have

Quintessential Quintet
Level 50

Looks like we got some achievements for free!
I logged in earlier and changed gender and got awarded Crazy Cat Lady and a few others.
If you have a male character it’s crazy cat man so that switches, that’s why you got that one maybe?
