I had to "cheat" to get mogs from lfr

I main pala, but he is outgeared for LFR, so i had to lvl up my warr and dk and keep them to on low item level to get the plate mogs for armor and weps.

Blizz is this really needed ?
Why iam forced to do this ?
This is the peak of toxicity.

Just bring back personal loot.

Huh? Farming Tmogs in raid finder Vault of the Incarnates?

Can you just gear up instead of farming them to tmog until 11.0?

Be quicker to run some M0’s-M+ 2’s, keep the gear and use the catalyst in the future on an mule alt to get the full mog then running lfr (imho).

Exactly! Even if PL would be a thing, your way is much faster & more productive, and at the end of the day, guaranteed.

You can’t get weapon models or offset piece appearance like this.

didn’t know this… I am more interested in the sets myself.

LFR has great weapon tramsogs.

thats not cheating thats you gearing up your alt in a smart way (that allows you to also unlock the mog on your main)

I work ordered a primal molten helmet with my DK’s spark towards my Paladin blacksmith for the same reason; to upgrade the DK’s gear and to unlock the appearance for the Paladin (specifically so I didn’t have to wait for a new spark), if what you did is cheating then so is what I did and I do not agree with that.

in general as a pala for mogfarming its good to have a dk or warrior (ideally both) spare backup

Yes, but gearing alts was not my plan. My plan was join LFR on my main and just chill out in lfr and collect some mogs. But i get your idea. I just wanna point on the fact that if i wanna collect mogs i must level up alts coz I cant get em on my main.

Seems there are issues outside of LFR as well with GL.

I wish they’d just give us PL back. It worked nicely, this system does not.

I have been running an alt through LFR to get some of the looks, but ultimately I’ll just use the Catalyst once I don’t need it on my main any more.

That’s a bit of a bummer yeah especially if you for example don’t have one waiting at level 60 to be taken through the dragon isles, to some extend I see why they’d do it because, personally, as someone who has been playing since TBC, transmog is ingrained in my brain as a ‘greed’ roll.

The best solution would be to put back personal loot imo (which honestly was fine for everything autoqueue, it was kind of where it wasn’t autoqueue where people wanted more options) or a third roll statistic transmog that is bellow need but above greed (it does a check on unlocked appearances and armor type), this’d have to be more fleshed out ofcourse

Bright side is atleast you’ve got a second plate to dodge lockouts on your main for older mogs

last Season, Non upgradealbe M0 gear turned into mythic appearence o_O

Didn’t the changes only apply to Tier tokens?
Do all plate wearers share the same plate tier set appearances?

And farming transmogs on multiple characters of the same armour type is a new thing?

No one but yourself forced you to do this. That “toxicity” comes from yourself.

People did the same in the early days of Destiny 1 when I was a teenager. Needless to say Bungie did ban all the players that could be confirmed doing this for lifetime.

Did it? must be an oversight surely? I need to go an see if that is still a thing.

Go lvl up another char.

i don’t know, but it may be.

I have already tested, it was removed just before DF :pensive:
