just as title says, i hate the idea of it being gate kept… and the fact that it costs x6 of the coin from the vault, makes it even more annoying… that’s like 1 per week…
i know blizzard is trying to slow us down and make us play the game more, but sockets should be farmed somewhere else, whether it’s a quest, or a weekly thing…
it kinda makes sense to have sparks from vault weekly, that’s fine, but gems should NOT be on weekly vault… awful system.
It’s meant to make not getting a good vault a nice option. A socket is the booby prize.
i mean you can easily pick extra spark for a craft which makes sense… then you ccould choose between 3 items or a crafted item, which makes more sense
I thought the sparks have a weekly cap, and if you waste your currency on it then you won’t get one from raids or M+.
If this is the thing that slows you down, then you should learn how to play and improve your theoretical knowledge about the game.
Sure, gem slots are slowing you, otherwise you will fly like a dragon.

It’s actually the best pick for PvP players, since all our gear scales to 489 anyway - we don’t really “upgrade” it with the vault.
It’s best to keep the vault for the gems and buy the conquest pieces with the currency.
I disagree with the gems. These need to be returned to JC and BS for the belt and wrist sockets. There is absolutely no reason to time gate it.

either make it that pvp has some sort of own sockets built in gear, or just make it that there is some faster way to get gems.

, but seriously they previously had it as a rep grind gated system which was very unpopular with many raiders/pvpers who didn’t want to do a load of daily content.
Such a luxury not needing gear from the vault and just being able to use it for sockets. I don’t get to that point until I’ve run out of gearing options, or if the vault is really unkind to me.
they can make it built into the weekly spark quest which alot of people do, which is rather quite simple to do.
or the best choice would be that gear should just have its own built-in sockets just like in wotlk and other older expansions… i don’t get why gems have to chosen from a “weekly vault reward”
