Valid point, but I don’t think it matters much. On top of the priest bubble and regular crits you’d get normally, the extra crits don’t seem like a big deal to me. And meanwhile the casting pushback is still very useful against other classes - mages, hunters, warlocks.
I’d say wind serpent is just as good or even better for non-elves, but a wolf? It doesn’t bring anything in pvp, furious howl is terrible unless you’re buffing a whole group with it.
Never, ever use a Wind Serpent in Vanilla Organized PvP.
The Dampen Magic mage buff makes it useless versus mages (lightning damage negated). Mages are the most dangerous PvP opponents and make 1/3 or half at least of a BG’s population.
@Dottie
Broken Tooth will activate the Beast Mastery Pet Attack Speed Buff (from talents) faster than slower cats and the dps increase comes from this fact in the short 30 second window that a pvp encounter lasts.
It can, a BT with frenzy will have a 0.77 attack speed iirc.
Indeed it doesn’t matter much. But I don’t think Broken Tooth is a gamechanger
What a scumbag.
I love to make Horde players miserable, but even I spared a troll hunter’s misery by letting him tame Broken Tooth before I began corpse camping him.
I agree, its just a pet for people who want to minmax a bit more.
Any regular fast cat will have a 0.92 attack speed under that effect.
the active abilities (bite or claw) aren’t affected by attack speed, making that difference even smaller.
Imo it hardly makes any difference to pushback. I’ll keep my swamp of sorrow puma.
