Not because the astethic, Im fine with that, but the mob dencity and the fact that several trash mobs hits you with a nuclear weapon, makes it bad. To add to that you dont get as much accomodation to the showdown quest as in Naightal, not even close. Sometimes you dont get anything at all. I did three world quests in a row and didnt get any credits for showdown at all from them.

Heroic or Normal Val?
If Heroic, it means you need to improve your equipment, or use full consumables to improve your power, or use crowd control where possible or group up with others and adventure together.
If Normal, maybe something is bugged.
Heroic, but I have around 282 in Ilvl. Also, as I pointed out, it isnt that bad in naightal, or the last verion of Val. I feal a difference here and comparing both last verion of Val and Naightal and there is, as I feel, a huge difference now. Also the thing when you dont get credits for the Showdown quests shows this. Now I have done like 5 world quests wiithout any credits for that quest. I have done a bug report about it though.

Yeah, Heroic Val seems to be something close to Tier 6 Ritual sites. Despite both having a recommended ilvl of 274, they are noticeably harder for that ilvl in comparison to any other content that has a recommended ilvl.
I also don’t like Val. It’s too cramped and there’s too much chaos and stuff going on. Naigtal is much better.
And of course this chaos naturally makes it harder, too, but that’s not really why I don’t like it. I just like WoW being chill.
I really like Naigtal by the way.

I don’t like either zone. The whole idea behind it doesn’t appeal to me, the oppressive environments don’t appeal to me, the heroic world tier does not appeal to me.
Imo they’re both very bad content.

I do not like either of the zones they added, tiny nothing zones that I’ve been to once each.
I think I have seen ONE person say they like this patch/HC mode. O n e.
Just realized there is no need to do it on HC mode any further. All I do is the World Boss on HC, then zerg all the weeklies and new quests in no time on normal mode. I already have HC unique treasures and achievs, so there is really no need to bother with it any longer. The much faster killing and speed of everything on normal pretty much compensates for the lower Field Accolade drops.

Pretty much switch over to Disc or Vengeance on my DH if I’m solo’ing it.
Often just go with the follow seeing people around to just pitch in snd get completed what I can outside of a group.
First progress bar weekly can be done as a raid kill group, same after killing 15 Rares or Elites.
Doing the WQs and events I just solo as DPS… if I see the debuff where I’m about to be anbushed [Rare Elite spawning on you] I switch over specs to survive it.
-Fighting some enemy that just straight up debuffs my damage by a flat 20% constantly.
-An elite with a bajillion HP ambushes me because that’s a fun mechanic to have active in a zone 24/7.
-it has a taunt that reduces my damage by 99% against all other targets.
-My movement speed is reduced by 500% because of a snowstorm.
Thrilling stuff.
…I feel the same as you - Val is not fab at all out of the 2 zones - fortunately managed the quests on heroic for this week, died a fair few times in the process 
In terms of loot from the World boss, got some items delivered in the mail abit later 
I agree, the mob density is absolutely insane, it’s the typical time wasting design blizzard is going with.
Not to mention the incredible amount of CASTER mobs specifically so we the player cannot group up a bunch of melee mobs and nuke them quick, no no.
Everything has to be a damn struggle.
I have set foot in the zones once and then noped out of there. I already made myself insane today doing the omnium folio rubbish. You guys are mad!

Just 2 more resets and all the achievements tied to these awful zones are done.. hope they never repeat the same thing again, oh wait.. AI is pretty good at making the same stuff over and over.. just look at youtube xD
I don’t think there is anyone left at Blizzards WoW team that actually plays the game, the quality of stuff is the proof.

The whole place feels unrewarding and unfun to do its like Maw 2.0.
I tried the place once and it just feels too annoying and unfun place.
I thought that I will have to do it for some long time getting all the Zone Reward drops for transmog, but then realized with a sub 90 toon all these items appear as World Quest rewards too in addition to the drop chance from rares, so it is very easy to get everything and reach 100% completion in both zones. Might be all the transmog from World Bosses will be the last thing to work on.

That can be said about the entirety of the game though, right? Anything that challenges us brings a hefty penalty for not completing it successfully. Missing out on its reward is a penalty itself, and then we have the additional penalty of repairs, and also the time spent on attempting it.
