I see them, You see them, Blizzard ignores them. But with enough people reporting them they “eventually” get rid of them.
Too bad a single Bot can farm enough gold in 1 day to sell and make a new account.
I’m tired of it. Ever since Classic started I dedicated most of time reporting them.
SoD started and nothing changed, They are there, all the hotspots taking all the precious materials, farming all the mobs that drop them.
I report them, I tell people to report them. They may be gone, They may be ignored and farm 24/7 since P1.
I decide “hmm maybe today i will just farm a bit of herb to get some gold, oh wait I cant every layer is already swarmed by them. I can maybe get a full stack of herb in an hour”
Lets do some fishing instead, oh wait cant they are there already fishing up all the schools of fish oh look some nice hunter bots killing mobs and skinning them, How cute.
I given up. It’s a meaningless battle. I can hardly imagine how bad the situation is on more popular servers.
Yes this was just a rant but I’m fed up. Sorry, Bye.
I got several of these as well for reporting. Once I reported a troll rogue circling Tarren Mill, obvious bot, missing runes and full BoE setup, clearly set on a scripted path. Two weeks later I come back in the area and who do you think was still circling around, useless.
Bots usually get banned in waves, so they’re not getting “ignored” though some don’t think it’s a desirable action to not take immediate action.
MVP’s are not forum mods and do not have forum powers once again, I keep repeating this quite often having to address off-topic harassment and thread hijackers while my time can be spent better at posting facts or Blizzard sources to get players informed on Blizzard things.
Please note that doesn’t mean I agree with Blizzard’s points: I merely post official statements or sources instead of I heard it from the hearsay of the rumour of the guy who bought gold type arguments.
