I have never seen a Mount Quest on my Mission Table... what am I doing wrong? Why Does Blizz hate me?

As the title above.

I have been playing Shadowlands since the start, bar a few breaks when I have had to go away for work.

I play the mission table Daily. Mainly for Gold quests, but I have completed the campaign quests.

But recently I noticed that I have never seen any of the Mount quests come up. I have seen a couple of Pet quests (but not for a long time). But never one for the mounts. And this spans multiple characters.

Have I missed something? Why does Blizz hate me?

Theyre part of a campaign, once you do all the pets you get 4 rep ones and then the 4 mounts.

ah you mean to 1000 rep ones?

The ones I didn’t bother doing because, well who needs to spend 8 hours earning 1000 rep?

The funny thing is, all the guides I find just said do the Campaign and the mounts appear. none of them mentioned rep quests.

Thanks.

Yea those, theyre part of the campaign…basically filler.

I think they actually say campaign as well.

They are marked with their own symbol too

To keep us playing for longer ;).

I’ll have a look at them.

Anyway, I have concluded from this. Blizz doesn’t just hate me. It’s hates all of us. But loves our money.

In which case I have done all of those

This guide contains a script if you want to check

Funnily enough, I looked at the guide and didn’t notice the script.

I have run the script. It says I have completed 17 Missions. The Guide says there’s only 16 :-/

They added more later, but they granted other things, as the expansion went on and we got more patches.

I guess it’s harder trying to track now :frowning:

Yeh, this is probably the case.

I think it’s time to Ticket a GM for Help. Although I expect I’ll just get an automated reply and told I am wrong with no help.

After the 16 initial missions you should have started getting the mount missions. Even if you fail you would keep getting them. I don’t know what else to suggest atm :frowning:

I’ll see what the GM says, after I get through the wall of Autoreplies and Ticket Closed Surveys.

Now there are 20, and the mounts are only on the last 4 missions.

So with 17 missions completed I should be on the Mount Missions then?

I suppose you should, yes. I received my first mount mission when I had 16 missions completed and then I did 4 more campaign missions with 4 mounts as a reward until I reach 20 completed missions and at that point, there weren’t any more campaigns.

I also had at that point a follower at level 50. Maybe that is also a requirement?

Level 50!!?

How have you gotten to level 50? I think my highest is level 45 maybe and that’s on a toon I’ve been playing all expansion.

I’m not sure if that is the case though. I remember a guildy reporting a mount mission in the first month of the expansion around xmas 2020.

I did it by focusing only on one character, the one with the max level I had, and always doing with her any missions that give you 2000-5000 follower experience. If there was a mission with such amount of experience I didn’t start any mission and instead wait for those to appear the next day, so I always have that follower ready to do it to not miss the opportunity.

I also received 3 items that granted an absurd amount of experience to a follower (I think 30k or 50k) and I used all of them with the same character. Those items were 2 from Renown reward and 1 that dropped randomly on LFR.

Once the character reached level 50 I started to receive quests that have as a reward an item that grant 3k-10k experience to a follower. Just like the missions with experience, I reserve my followers with bigger levels until there is a quest with a 7k-10k item experience reward.

Ah. Yeh, I doubt quite that much focus on one Character would be required… but then this is Blizz’s Shadowlands, the grindiest expansion of all time.

I generally focus on a 1 group of adventurers and they are the main ones I do missions with. But I do missions every day, and multiple times a day. Sure I focus on gold before XP, but for the amount I play, I doubt someone who casually plays would have seen a mount mission if that were the case.

I’ve got a ticket in anyway. Lets see if the GM has any clue what’s going on.

That’s a good point I hadn’t considered there may be some level requirement for the actual followers.

And Update:

Progress so far with my Ticket:

After a few hours, I get an Auto-Reply.

I respond to the autoreply in the usual: “Please read my ticket and don’t auto reply to me” sense.

10 hour later, I get a response" Works our end, please submit a bug report"

:man_facepalming:

Seriously Blizz, why don’t you help people anymore.
