Like the title says, i have no sound while playing wow mists of pandaria classic while i have sound in everything outside the game. I have seen 2 more topics about this issue on reddit by us players so am not the only one. It seems it appeared after the last patch. I have checked huge amount of times windows volume mixer and all settings are fine including separate bar for wow. In game when I go to audio settings I have 2 options available on device output “system default” and “nosound driver”. The 1st one is selected. Tried disabling all my addons, issue persists even after relogging. Deleted WTF / interface / cache folders nothing changed. Pressing ctrl+S or ctrl+m while in game changed nothing too. Scan and repair tried also.

Same for my friend who says it just stopped working after a game update.
It’s not the first time I read about this, it’s been seldom reported for months now but from what I remember no one could fully figure it out except for one guy for whom it started working again two game updates later.
What sounded like a very specific problem is that text-to-speech kept working, but no other sound was being produced.
