Anyone can give me some hints on what is actually fun to play ? also why is it fun for you, so maybe I can decide myself.
Thanks a lot in advance

I started leveling mage, and I surprisingly found it fun to play.
But I would suggest trialing the classes you have never tried before, and pick from there
Which classes do you currently have at max and list a couple of things you enjoy about them?
Download and try out all the classes yourself on the PTR.
I’ll tell you my top classes though
DK. Lots of class flavor returned, good rotation, solid in all content. Both specs are a lot of fun. Frost is fast paced slap your opponent with whatever you have, and UH contrasts it by being a little more methodical by building up your debuffs then popping them. DK AOE is very satisfying.
Downside is they are not mobile.
Hunter but only MM. Surv is garbage, probably the worst melee spec in the game, and BM is boring.
MM has very nice visuals, cool utility, and it’s a mobile ranged. Sniper shot & volley are fun to use and they’re getting nice covenant abilities.
Monk. Very fluid and smooth rotation thanks to the mastery, strong solo capabilities with powerful defensive and burst skills. Can fulfill all roles.
Shaman is just overall better than it is right now. It is also one of the few classes I think have actually been improved thanks to the unpruning, a lot of unpruning is just garbage filler spells you’ll never use (cough cough Mage).
Other mentions that people are happy with but not to my taste:
Shadow priest
Aff Lock
Sub Rogue
I still have my BFA 110 boost, they’ve rather disincentivised their use with Allied Races not getting heritage armour if you do.
Will this become a 47 level boost in Shadowlands? I assume it won’t be removed…
I am considering using it on my level 14 goblin warlock which has been idle for a long time…
I just use them boost druids on different servers so that i dont have to pay for a transfer if i wanted to try out a new realm, with the new leveling changes in prepatch if i want an alt of a new class ill just dedicate the 30 hours or whatever to level it up.
I’d planned on using the supposed boost I would get when I purchase Shadowlands on a class I want to use solely as a healer - was deciding between Discipline Priest and Restoration Druid. Since there’s not going to be a boost I’m quite sad… but, I would still recommend boosting a character you consider using as a healer (unless you do not have experience healing, in which case you should practice first!).
If you do not plan to heal, I suppose a DPS class which isn’t the best until the endgame would be a good idea. I would have boosted a Rogue here.
use them to flex on dem poor low levels
Try classes out on the beta or PTR before you decide. For instance, I have mained Paladin since the start of Legion now and will likely be switching to MM Hunter.
I mained Warlock from Pandaria to Legion. It’s like classes get 2 good expansions then go splat…
It depends on player to player tbh.
On my case I used my Legion boost on a second Hunter, a BE one, since I didn’t want to spend money race/name changing this one.
My BFA boost was spent on a BE mage after I made her as a trial character.
Because I didn’t had a mage and I wanted a BE cloth character.
I have no regrets.
I keep playing them along other 8 characters, including this one.
My 8 remaining characters are:
I still need to hit max level with:
I need to start playing a Warlock.
As you can see, what’s technically fun, is subjective from player to player.
I consider Hunters fun and Warriors afterwards.
Off topic:
RNG makes me feel happy I have 2 Hunters.
See the amount of 445 TW gear this Hunter has ?
She has another set of Azerite gear ILV 445, for a second off-spec.
My BE got 4 MM boots, 2 Duplicate BM rings (1 slotted). Basically a disaster.
Even running LFR, I got only one Azerite shoulder piece ILV 430 and the Helmet ILV 430, I got was donated by a generous Orc Hunter.
Thank you kind soul wherever you are.
Meanwhile I have no off-spec Azerite gear.
It’s even worst if we consider the countless Heroics she’s been through before TW and LFR. Also the amount of extra TW chests she has opened in comparison to this character.
All of my 9 characters have some duplicate Azerite gear 415, 430 or 445.
This one has about 77 days between Vanilla and TBC.
But my BE Hunter is the one that has more game play time between Legion where she was my main and BFA.
I am starting to noticing, that the character I play the most is the one that gets screwed the most in RNG …
Edit: typing.
Cheers.
