I’ve done tens of heroic runs too and haven’t been kicked a single time either. That doesn’t change my opinion that this mechanic is nonsense. To put it mildly.
And btw, stating that those who get kicked are toxic…it’s not necessary to get into how fundamentaly flawed this statement is, is it?

There is always 2 sides to a story. Often people complaining they’ve been kicked present the event as it was totally not their fault, but the reality is, we only have one side of the story, we don’t know what really happened.
I’ve not been kicked in Cataclysm. Actually I can’t remember the last time I was kicked because we’re talking years or maybe a decade, but it has happened in the past, randomly without good reason.
The thing is, experienced skilled players aren’t likely to get kicked, people who get kicked are more likely to be unskilled, inexperienced, undergeared players, who still deserve to play the game but some players refuse to play with. So I’m sure it happens often enough, but I don’t see it happen when I play, very rare.
on my 84 mage yesterday did ahune and because we didnt 1 phase it the 4 other members in group from ofc gehennas realm vote kicked me on a seasonal boss lol there is no height or depths of pettiness it seems people from this realm sink too.

you get insta kick cause when tank votes on your head, nobody cares like usual everybody clicks yes yes without even knowing what the prompt it
