Calia is -not- going to be the new leader of the Forsaken, Blizz have stated this, I mean for goodness sake even Steve ‘I wish I was Nathanos’ Danuser has outright stated this in an interview. “She is not the new Forsaken leader, nor is she being set up to be the new one, that is not her story arc”
She has a role in Shadowlands, this is true, but it is a personal agenda tied into finding out what happened to her brother after his final death (Boy is she in for a wild ride:P ).
No Forsaken leader has been declared yet, though it seems Lilian Voss represents them on the Council, however Lilian has also stated she is not the leader of the Forsaken. Lilian -asked- Calia to lead, and Calia said no.
So yet again I bring you the good news. Calia Menethil is not the new leader of the Forsaken.
I hope you are right because if that happens will be the biggest Non Sense and Plot Hole ever, and i can’t believe some people want Nathanos leader of Forsaken atm tip he’s the most Hated Character at this point well if he wasn’t hated and was a good Character yeah it could had been
It’s from an interview that was on Wowhead a while back about a month or so, it was in reaction to the datamined cutscene that shows Calia standing alongside Lor’themar, Thalyssra, Rokhan and Valeera, squaring off against Alliance leaders. The question was put to Danuser “Does this mean that Calia is the new Forsaken Leader?” Which is when he said “No, nor is she being set up to be the next Forsaken Leader” and explained why she was in the cinematic. I’m hoping he was right, and it is kind of emphasised by the fact that Valeera is there, and she isn’t a racial leader either.
So assuming that Danuser was correct in what he said (and lets face it, he is Mr Forsaken) then Calia is 100% not the new leader.
So as long as he is right in what he said, no no equivocation, he was certain about it, then no, we should be gucci, she ain’t the new leader.
Forsaken doesn’t need hot Leader, they need a Leader who knows their Race well and their motives also her model is not that bad considering they can always change her model and clothes in Future
